There are two elements that fit that model depending on the production. Have you confirmed the PNC number and checked the element is the right one? Also remove the side panel and check the connection to the NTC as this can corrode over time on this model.

If your sure that both parts were correct and wired correctly then it has to be the heater relay on the main circuit board itself at fault

If you mean the short fat hose from the sump to the drain pump then yes its bonded onto the sump end . The very latest versions of this range arnt bonded on and so it is possible to obtain just the hose off the later version but I reckon it might be a bit messy trying to get the remants of the old hose off the sump though.

One other thing worth checking in that case is the front thermostat but its highly unlikely . This stat is hidden and is accessed from inside the drum at the front above the door opening

That plug is for the heater so if its still tripping with the heater disconnected then its most likely to be the motor and given the age its not worth it.

If you can then making sure you protect the front from damage then lay it on its front that way its less likely the oil from the compressor will run into the pipework .

Its a board fault yes but worth checking the door switch for discolouration on the side (cream door switch but goe’s brown in the centre if its on its way out) as this can spike the board . I take it you dont mean you’ve replaced five boards on this particular machine though?

    Re: Independent Service In Administration?

JTM are doing Cata as I found out today. I called to job that had been arranged via ISDAL, it was the third time this oven had failed and the cust was not happy and B&Q said the usual “Just get the engineer to say its not repairable and we will exchange ” well it needed a terminal block as it had burnt out so when I told the customer I carnt say its not repairable they took off and rang Cata to insist on an exchange but pressed the service option instead and was put through to JTM who told them about independent going bust and that I should not be there!!(Even though my office said we would be paid direct by cata) Anyway packed up the tools and left the cust speaking to JTM ranting and raving to arrange a call with them but not sure who will inherit it!!

Re: Zanussi zkt621lx hob cutting out

No cut on this so I’d first check the terminal block and the connections around the links as they may well be breaking down under load. Else it will be the pcb at the front/centre,Ive had them fail in the past.
