Defo sounds like the bearings but if your going to do it properley you need the tub rear complete (with the bearings already in it),tub seal, drum spider as in my exsperience just knocking a set of bearings in never seems to last. Not sure on the equivolent model over there but its likely to have been badged as just as an electrolux.I would try contacting electrolux themselves and see if they can cross match it.

The board is totally identical apart from a slight change on the configuration I would be tempted to just try it .Failing that it is possible to alter the configuration with the right software though . (How friendly are tou with your local service force centre 😉 )

What code is it then? E52 motor E62 heater for starters but there’s quite a few. count the red flashes for the first number and the green flashes for the second number of the code.

About a year ago I got called to a zanussi SL218T circa 1980ish still on a D&G policy and still working apart from “A knocking noise every now and then” turned out the tin worm had gotten hold and a suspension leg support had rotted and broken off the cabinet bottom so I had to finally give it its last rites!. I myself have an Zanussi WDJ1074 bought in 1992 and have only replaced the brushes on/off and door switch in all this time. Not a chance of their latest offerings doing the same though!.

Iv’e asked for the model details so I could compare the dimensions of his old one to a new model as it stands to reason if his old one fitted then thats a good starting point !!

Could be the tacho on the end of the motor is either loose or open circuit however I have known the main pcb also cause this fault on this range so check the motor first if thats ok then it has to be the pcb

E20 on the dry cycle can be down to the condensor (under the dryer fan back right corner) becoming blocked however if the wash side is now not working then select drain and start it now press and hold in both the start/pause button and the button to the left of it until an engineers error code is displayed and post what it is back on here.

    Re: zanussi de6965 not spraying

Well if you do get another IWMS I hope it doe’s work for you but I fear your now throwing good money after bad personally like jackal said use the sink for now and put money aside each week until you can afford to replace it and see if you can return the new motor and at least get some if not all the cost of it back . But if your determined to do it then there are two types of IWMS on that model depending on prodution so make sure you know the product code when ordering (Its on the rating plate) one IWMS is around £80 the other Around £120

    Re: zanussi de6965 not spraying

Well thats £100 less towards a new dishwasher whats the point in giving you advice when your not willing to take it. An IWMS is slightly more than the motor around £120 never mind eh :boops:

Re: Zanussi double oven fault with bottom oven

You always have to re-set the clock if you switch it off it doe’s not re-set itself so this is the first thing to check so set the correct time if the fault still persists then you’ve been unlucky in that the element will also of blown the oven thermostat.

Re: Diagnostics programme on AEG LAVW1250

The three fill stages at the begining will just keep filing up if you let it as the reason for those tests are to check the flow of water into each part of the dispenser thats all . I would clear the fault code and run it and if E52 reappears and presuming the brushes and tacho are ok its proberley the motor losing its insulation when it warms up given the megger reading (assuming its 150 ohms or is that the max your meter reads upto? ) Did you disconnect the motor and megger it then ?
