With the machine unplugged identify the wash pump and try to rotate it by hand (or rather carefully by screwdriver through the end frame).
If there is no sign of any leakage through the pump seals (water marks at the very bottom of it) then you may well have something in there so stripping it apart would get the object out but if there is a slight leak there then the seal has failed and the pump is seizing as a result.
If it is seizing then forcing the pump to rotate will get it running for a while but it will need replacing….

Sounds like the stat is simply out of calibration and needs replacing….

The Bosch and the Neff are essentially the same thing as they are both made by BSH ….
The only difference between them is the spec of each individual model. If you want the top end of those have a look at the Siemens…again the same product basically but with a bit more sound proofing and features etc.
If it were me I would have a Bosch, and choose the model by what features you think you might use…

First thing to check is the lower element…switch the top oven on and hold your hand on the base inside. You should notice a temperature rise within a minute or so and not be able to hold your hand there comfortably after a couple of minutes….
Also, does the thermostat light go out at any time when you have it set to 200 and above?

Is the start light flashing?….how many flashes?….

Access is underneath, there is a small locking tang then it bayonets out.
Power off at all times :zap:

Have you checked the heater for earth leakage? The pcb’s on these seem to be about as reliable as a 1970’s skoda too….

Other than an intermittent dispenser or earthing heater my money would be on the pcb i’m afraid 😕

Hi Mel, that certainly is a strange one especially as the green light goes off and doesn’t flash an error code. Usually that would indicate a faulty pcb by the fact that it isn’t even registering a fault but it would be worth running a meter around it and especially checking for earth faults as these can sometimes confuse the electronics 😉

ParticipantRe: shock off whirlpool semi integrated dishwasher
+1 for an earth fault (faulty earth)….if the sink and appliance are correctly earthed (not just connected to an earth wire that doesn’t go anywhere) then they will both be at 0 volts 😉

ParticipantRe: Caple DI414 – still got problems
The only way to check the flow meter is working is to check it’s continuity from the connector on the pcb…disconnect from the pcb and identify which wires go to the reed switch. Hook a multimeter to them and have a helper ‘waft’ a magnet very close to the reed switch…you should see the circuit make and break.
If you get the knack you can actually make the paddle wheel in the matrix rotate with a magnet 😉
Reconnect having squeezed up the connector block and try again, if still no go then you are looking at the pcb itself 😕
Plug out at all times :zap:

ParticipantRe: Testing Pump with multimeter.
Never forget the obvious!…your drain pump may simply be packing up, these rarely fail electrically (i can only ever recall having one!)
The resistance figures you give are about right so check that the drain pump impellor is free to rotate with a bit of ‘spring’ as you rotate them.

ParticipantRe: Diplomat adp8322 – beeping and flashing 3 times per seco
Three flashes is simply a ‘no heat detected’ fault. This could be due to several things, the first and most obvious is a failed heater which can only be checked with a meter so if you can operate one that’s the first port of call.
Plug out at all times when testing :zap:
If you don’t have a meter then maybe it’s time to call an engineer?
