    blocked inlet filter,poor water pressure.get a few like this around here but usually down to debris from rural customers own water well.

    Giving free estimates only encourages customer to ring every engineer doing so in the locality.Even if you do get job chances are it will mean a return visit after customer has finished getting numerous free quotes.Diagnosis/Repair charge the only way.

    only ever did one and it was dry joint on pcb behind motor.cost of new motor if needed will prob ber this one.

    thanks for reply Steve.not going to this one till tues.i believe that this is one of mieles entry level professional washers.still not sure whether to proceed with this one as previous parts service from miele(ireland) has been very very poor.m/c is in nursing home so i doubt they will be too happy for it to be down too long.i wonder what warranty they give on professional range.paul

    sorry Jim could have worded last post a little better,what i meant to imply was that ratio of new motor shaft was different to old one and not faulty manufacture.
