had this b4 if timer display cutting out as well it will be one of the two control pcbs got caught out myself changed loads parts under insurance not the way to go i know but got there in the end

THANKS ANYWAY BUT SORTED IT NOW THE HEATER HAD GONE OPEN CIRCUIT AFTER I HAD REPLACED BOARD AND HADNT CHECKED IT AGAIN

does light definately go off when u close door hard to tell at times i usually open door and pass strong magnet under reed switch to check with door open if light goes out failing that i havent a clue other than a duff board you have fitted not unheard of

had this before there is a reed switch on small pcb in facia operated by magnet in door if door dropped or reed switch faulty appliance thinks door is open so will sound an alarm came across 2 whilst working for service force

ntc in back by the heater check resistance i.e not down to earth/ and also measure resistance if 0 it is short circuit would normally be abot 500 ohms depending on temperature

like most new timers detected error and aborting programm check motor tacho and ntc both likely suspects before going down timer route

short circuit ntc can also cause program to rapidly advance also worth a check

binary codes lights from top 0=8
0=4
0=2 program code
0=10=8
0=4
0=2 position for program code
0=1
for example top set lights for program code top light and bottom light lit is equivalent to 9 on digital display and 2nd and 3rd light down would =6 etc
obviouly binary only goes 0-9 so A=10 B=11 C=12 D=13 E=14 F=15
so for example code F would be all four top lights lit—-8+4+2+1=15

CHECK THERES IS NOT AN ICE BLOCKAGE IN THE DUCT BIHIND THE PANEL IN THE FREEZER WHERE THE FAN SITS CAN CLEAR USING A HAIR DRYER ALTERNATIVELY GET CUST TO DEFROST THOROUGHLY AND IT WILL CLEAR ITSELF
