I have exactly the same fault. Checked the motor, all paths through ok and meggers fine. Checked the wiring from the module to motor and checked plugs (what cr*p connections in the plugs). Swapped the hinterlock still clicking like a oap’s top set (no offence Martin 😉 ).
Sent the board over to EMW and hope that’s the culprit, otherwise I’m stumped on this.Tony

The missus stopped them at the end of our driveway last year, let himself in through the big gate, to help himself to my scrap pile. Luckily she saw him and gestured him to ‘go forth and multiply’ as she put it . Bigger, higher gate with a lock now….I caught them a few weeks ago hanging out the passenger door of his van trying to see over the top of it 😆

thanks for your input, Gents.
I knew this was going to be painful :rolls:
As usual this machine is built in with the door tight up to the left hand wall (bespoke kitchen :rolls:). I could just make out the model number with a mirror but looks like I’ll have to return with my FBH to have a look at the
codes.

You’ve got to salute the madheads that made it in the first place. Wonder what the head count is??

ParticipantRe: Treat your customers like this..
Or this…..
one of my customers recently was having a new boiler fitted by BG as I called.
Boiler frame is above the washer and I noticed that it was more than a little skew. Didn’t mention it to the customer, but she was already less than pleased with the engineer. She was quoted two days and he had already taken five…not turning up at all on the morning i was there.
Anyway, it was a call to a WMA bearing which I suggested due to BG engineer and not much room I’d pick it up the following Saturday and do the job in my garage.
She called me on Friday to say that BG had advised her not to move the machine as an insurance assessor needed to see it :?.
She had complained to the office about the time it was taking and a manager turned up, was generally horrrified with the guys work and noticed a big dent in the front panel of the WMA ath the same height as the BG toolbox lid. Said engineer was sent home and another guy spent from 7.30 AM to 9P.M. the next day sorting out the original engineers cock ups.
Not been back to it yet but i’ll looking forward to hearing the outcome.TC

Sorry mate missed that. He just told me that the ‘ladies’ had reported it wasn’t washing very well. Other than that he was clueless.

How about carrying an old asthma inhaler in your van, when they whip out the ciggys, you whip out your inhaler and start wheezin!
Believe me it doesn’t work. The ones who light up when you are working in their kitchen wouldn’t notice anyway 👿
I usually leave the kitchen and tell them I’ll wait in the van till they’ve finished, clock running of course 😉Tony

ParticipantRe: A sad tale…
Lost it myself on Friday due to one of our loverly parts distributors letting me down a second time on the same parts for the same call. Old dear with a mint 8 year old Bosch with a failed motor bearing. Persuaded her to go for the motor rather than new machine as the it had hardly any use.
She ended up cancelling the call as it was upsetting her, I ended up losing it (not with the old dear, I could understand her point), my phone (nearest thing to hand), and everything in its memory etc.
This post puts it all into context. This job is hardest when it isn’t your fault but everything in the customers eyes points to you.
Have now set up another account elsewhere as Masterpart are getting too unreliable.TC
