Cheers Gents 🙂
I remember this one from the dim and distant now.
Black melted mess that cost a fortune when they decided to go with the complete plug being replaced. Loads of wires fused together,so they all had to be cut back and pieced out. Took for ever tracing back the wires with the diagram to see where they went 😥

😳 Don’t nkow if I made it clear enough from previous post.
When the programme starts to count down the machine doesn’t fill or anything. Would a motor triac cause this as well?TC

ParticipantRe: Ind. WD10UK fast reverse tumble – normal?
Had a wd12 and a w123 in workshop recently on test. Both did this at exactly the same time so I presume its in the programme. The faults were unrelated (insofar as they were both Indesits).

ParticipantRe: skinny jubilee clips
What width is the band on these jubilee type clips Whirlpool supply?
8mm ones can be got for around 30p each if they are narrow enough.
Would they fit in between the Whirlpool heater hose ridges?

Weeding out the ‘I want to know if it’s worth fixing’ brigade is getting
a necessary evil now if you advertise no call out charge.Tell them you do charge for estimate / diagnosis time and explain why, it soon gets shot of the liberty takers.
Genuine customers realise that a good engineer is something worth paying for!
