Any help with this gratefully received or any tech info please Thanks Cras (works with kez)

It was tongue in cheek on my part ,they have a hotpoint at there cottage in cornwall and that dries the pots ok apparently ,so they asked me if i would change it for a hotpoint i told them that it wouldnt be my choice but if that would make them happy i would oblige its now off my back and they phoned today to say the Hotpoint is much better :rolls: customers eh 😆

We had a good un yesterday customer rings up “what s the best way to get a melted plastic bag off my ceramic hob ,” My office lady ” well you could try a scraper and some hob cream cleaner failing that i dont really know but i will ring the oven cleaning firm we use and ask them .” Ten mins later office rings back the customer ” i have had a word and she confirms what i originally said except warm the hob up first slightly ” slight pause on the phone from customer ,my office staff expecting thanks for going out of her way to help this person is suddenly met with ” well that is no good at all i bought this cooker off you and i can tell you one thing i will never use your company again ” WTF ……all i can say is im glad i dont do the phones she would have had one a two more reasons to not use my company again most of them beginning with F .. 😉 Cras

according to bosch helpline they should not leave it on overnight or while they are away from the property either :rolls: , not much point in putting a time delay on it then ,mind you having seen a few bosch fires he probably airing on the side of caution 😆 . The dishwasher is on an outside wall and that was a thought i had considered ,but you know what the response will be if i mention that ” my old one never did that ” however i am tommorow swapping it with a quality Hotpoint 🙂

Re: new bosch integ dw problem ? Bosch engineer perhaps

Thanks for the replies ,she is definitely using rinse aid and three in one tablets ,bosch told her that it is condensation and to empty it within half hour of it finishing and in fairness when she does this the pots are dry ,the problem is they are business people working long hours and this is just not practical ,wondering if any bosch engineer or somebody that sells a lot of the modern bosch dw has come across this problem ,we have tried extending the dry time without success Thanks Cras

Compressor was goosed ,the whole thing defrosted ,no solenoid visible on this model. You can see the cap. as it enters the fridge evap . but not on the freezer section which led me to think that the freezer evap. is just a continuation of the fridge evap and return to the compressor. cheers cras

    Re: Misleading?

I think over the years call out charge and labour charges have been rather muddled together they used to be separate items ,i have invoices from my late father from the 70 s showing his call out charge and then labour charges as a separate item . Like the people above i do not charge a call out but i do charge for a proper diagnosis ,i have about half a dozen people question this every week but when we explain it to them at the time of booking most are perfectly happy ,the ones that are not are the ones i want to avoid :rolls: Cras

Think this light tells you that the power has been cut and possibly defrosted the food, as the freezer appears now to be down in temp. hold and press down for a few seconds your finger over the light it should go out ,cheers Cras
