    I presume that you have checked that the seal on the cap is OK and the cap is not cracked

    Probably stuck diverter valve on wash pump or half load button pushed in ?

    Yes Zanussi – have you checked burns on circuit boards. had a zanussi on monday that needed both boards & interlock for same problem.

    Also check the inlet tank on left hand side
    Pt No. 1170481004 – never had AEG blocked but have had several in other makes.

    Had similar last month – door locked and then nothing. sent board to EMW but they said that the chip was damaged and were unable to repair. As this was for a letting agency that I do a lot of work for I had to fit new module and treat myself to smart card reader and pleased to say machine worked OK.

    May be worth sending board to EMW for test/repair.

    Motor Tacho Fault – Magnet Broken – broken cables to motor or could be Circuit Board.

    Feed thin piece of wire or strong string around door between door and cabinet and pull to release striker, I have used this method several times and saves a lot of time.

    I have had a couple of this type doing the same thing and on one had to change the module to clear the fault and the other the customer decided to replace dryer.
    Have you got product number as there are several different versions.
