From a very reliable source and not to be made public. I have just heard that ISDAL are intent on starting up their own service network with employed engineers. They already have one on the road and intend to have the vast majority of their area covered by employed engineers by 2013. The plan is to poach engineers from wherever they can and dispense with their independent companies asap.
One day these people will understand that its much better to work with us rather than against us :haier:

The up to date listing of those requiring stands is on page 3. All are to pay except Liebherr & Amica who are sponsoring the fridge course. Bryan has the latest floor plan.

Pass the mod on to Samsung this is a free of charge mod carried out by Samsung engineers. If you carry it out it may put you in a liability situation. Also the mod may have already been carried out during the prod recall

Being a fridge engineer I guess you have two options, the customer is aware that the original contractor fitted a HC compressor. The compressor will be fitted with a non-sparking relay/overload assy so is intrinsically safe. Having made it clear to the customer what you are doing ie you are not breaking into the system you should be in the clear. This is quite a common repair within this industry – your choice is to advise the customer and do the defrost repair or walk away from the call.

Lee8 – there is much to the adage of ‘glass houses and stones’ with this company. Communication poor, training poor, part supply poor, customers poor, respect for both engineers and customers poor and so it goes on. One day the manufacturers will realise that keeping things in-house is not always the best course and equally going through WPs is fraught with danger
