    Re: Repaircare…

Slightly off topic but have you spotted this one on Connect message area re new carrier – reading between the lines or jaundiced view as a money saver –

    Customer Notice 29/10/2010 09:25

As we are expecting a high volume of traffic during the initial weeks of November, December and January could you please endeavour to place your orders during the morning to assist deliver.

or perhaps 8) gives this crap carrier more time to sort out the deliveries on time lol

Just save your money – go to Tesco and buy one of their digital kitchen scales for less than £20 its accurate to 1g and works fine for recharging. HTH

Supco R022 relay and overload assembly will do the job, rated up to half a HP and can be used with a start capacitor. Comes with fitting instructions. HTH

    Re: Set up

You know in away it would be better if this were turned on its head – ie advise customer that the cost is this (taking in the fact that you have to go twice) that they have seven days to think about it and then if they want you back they should call and in the meantime they owe you ?? for you call out. lol

    Re: February 2011 Meeting

Could I ask you to consider the following, Im not bothered about where we meet at all but if anything was noted at this last meeting it was that the number of manufacturers was really down. It stands to reason that the majority of them are busy running up to Xmas and less so in February. Overall numbers were about the same as the last big meeting but this could be because of the expected bun fight and the new ISE machine. If we could get a greater number of engineers, wps, spares suppliers and manufacturers perhaps we could increase the numbers.

    Re: A lesson learnt!

Ade – Your doing a good job on this COP and having been down the equally intense F-Gas thing I know how frustrating it gets both with government departments that don’t seem to have a brain and will only follow their own agenda and engineers that just don’t understand how much work it takes to acheive the aim. Keep your chin up, it’s very satisfying to complete the task and then have a break 8)
