Latest on this one – still haven’t been able to contact this guy, as Ade says he has a voicemail thats not activated. Had a conversation from their customer care department in India that had no listing of him. Recently heard that there is a tie-in with them and Comet over the extended warranty/guarantee work but this has yet to be confirmed. Will keep trying to get through :rolls:

Perhaps you would indicate where you are located in the UK and I will look into this for you. I am a ISE seller and located in Boston Lincolnshire but equally I could have arranged for the appliance to be delivered to you in wherever part of the country you reside.

Front panel does not come off so you have to do it through porthole. I dont use debor but sometimes a very light application of washing up liquid in the inner groove helps. Give yourself plenty of time and do it slowly its more fiddly than difficult. Good luck

Check – Brown goes to 6 on the stat and white goes to 4 on stat. If that doesn’t cure it you are likely short of gas.

And in doing so you’d be purchasing perhaps the best washing machine in Europe the new ISE10.

Not to bad to do John – top off, back off, disconnect motor heater etc, front off shocks off, soap dispenser disconnect and fold back out of way, top springs and out of front she comes. Split the tub after taking bits off back and reassemble. Good to have space around you tho.

You need to ensure that the old thermostat is made by the same manufacturer as the new one. The numbers are not universal from one manufacturer to the next. If they are made by the same manufacturer ie Ranco or Danfoss you should be OK otherwise you have to wire it differently. So to recap same manufacturer Ranco (old) to Ranco (new) you should be alright but Ranco to Danfoss wiring change.

If the appliance is short of refrigerant or the compressor is failing the temperature whilst below freezing will not be cold enough to reach that required by the thermostat. Result is the appliance runs all the time and the inside back freezes up.
