Re: BEKO Washing machine not draining

Tip machine back to 45 degrees switch on drain and having removed the drain pump filter and looking into pump housing see if pump impeller is spinning, if not it is either jammed, seized or faulty

Re: BEKO Washing machine not draining

As Seamy says get back to basics – have you changed the pump or the filter for the pump. If you have 233 volts going to the pump it should be turning, if not it is either seized, jammed or faulty.

Gauge manifold together with two hoses 80mm oil filled gauge is about £75 plus vat. Gauges alone 80mm oil filled gauge with 1/8 npt threads are about £40 plus vat. They are totally designed for domestic useage. I’ve got three sets and wouldnt buy another make after using them for 12 months.

    Re: Refrigeration Leak Dye

No – for no other reason than the amount that you get for sundries would not cover the cost of using the dye together with capital expense of getting the injector/uv lamp. With a/c most of the pipework is visible with domestic very little is.

    Re: montpellier

That is totally correct and together with many many others your name was forwarded to Montpellier for their consideration and appointment as an agent if they so wished. To my knowledge you are still on the Montpellier service network. However, if you or retailers within your area are not selling the product then you will not get work coming your way. One final point, this network is operated by Montpellier (Repairtech) with information supplied by us at the WTA, it is not a network run by the WTA working on behalf of Montpellier. Therefore, if you have concerns please contact Montpellier direct.

1 Fluke multimeter say £150 warranty 12 months – calibration after 12 months, ie ongoing costs – puts it in to context and yes you can still use the Fluke without calibration but would you want to?

    Re: PABL RFF-5050FF

I think you have more of fault than just an evaporator fan. Even if this fan was not working you would have a below freezing situation in the freezer section by conduction alone. More likely you have a problem with either their being a shortage of refrigerant or a problem with the compressor. On another note, it may be possible to still get parts for this appliance but as you should be aware PABL went under some years ago.
