I would switch it off and phone the retailer first thing in the morning (I’m assuming it’s new). There is certainly something wrong there so it would be best not using it to be honest.

Take your Dad’s advice and do a complete defrost 😀
But, not with a chisel, just leave it off for 48 hours (keep some towells handy ;)) and see what happens as it may well have been caused by the door being left open.

It’s a special order from most hence the high prices, the list price from Lux is £105.48 ex VAT, if you phone them on 01325 302464 you should get a bit of discount (15{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} for non-account holders I believe) plus a fiver odd carriage.
Still about £90 though 🙁

30mm bearing kit only is part number 1604600 but whether you can get the spider to match (is the new one 30mm ?) 😕

Try an Indesit W123 motor at £86 then :eeek:
TBH, most manufacturers seem to want upwards of £70 for motors 😥

1604116 for WMA’s with AC controls is £85.00 ex VAT
