This will either be the same as the WIDL error codes on page 3 of the known error codes list or as per Iadom’s post (Codes for most Hotpoint WF & WD machines without digital display) on page four here:

shiner3lima wrote:The only thing i havent checked is the filter that is fitted inside the waste outlet pipe. Could this be the problem?
There is no filter in the waste hose, the filter is part of the drain pump you have already replaced behind the circular flap lower right on the machine 😉
FP is a drain error so it’s likely there is a blockage somewhere as the pump has been replaced.
Power off when checking :zap:

That’s the flood protection switch and you are activating the drain pump by lifting it but please don’t as working on live appliances is extremely dangerous.
I doubt the timer has failed to be honest (but possible), your email asking for a price I’ll answer here as I’m replying anyway 😉 it’s £43 odd inc.
I would suggest an engineer though to be honest before you spend money on spares that may not solve the problem 🙂

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Washer Dryer – Noisy
There are two pumps on this model, the drain pump is here in our shop@
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … cts_id=394
The circualtion pump is a bit more at £40 odd. You’ll need to check which one has failed and it may be the latter as that one runs almost continuously when there is water in the drum.
An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk please if the recirculation pump is required 🙂
We are only assuming that it is one of the pumps of course 😉

ParticipantRe: part wanted
It’s a Nardi, the part number is 040408009901R special order from Masterpart, Qualtex may have it and MFI also use the same oven so they may as well (same part number) 🙂

Not wishing to ask the obvious but did you read the user manual/installation instructions ? 😉
There’s a link in the terminal block that has to be fitted between terminals 1 and 2 (live).
Also time delays and child lock functions via the control panel may be the problem. I can email a copy later if you need it 🙂

It sounds like it or there’s something in the pump rattling around. Which model number is it to identify the correct one ?
Power off if looking inside please :zap:

ParticipantRe: diplomat adp8242 reset??
Open door
Switch on with door on/off button
Within 3 secs press programme button 4 times
Lights 1 & 5 should now be flashing (if not repeat until you have this situation)
Press programme button once more and you should be left with only the 5th light flashing.
Switch off (don’t close door)
Leave for a few seconds then switch back on.
Select programme and close door

That’s what I meant TBH, trade counter, office and bog all in one self contained/sealed area and easily buildable 🙂

Not yet 🙁

As there are people who need an appliance repaired who are prepared to take time off work to accomodate the working hours of an engineer to carry out the repair 😉
Purely out of interest, would you be happy to pay a higher call/labour charge for an “out of hours” call as this question is often asked ?
