Re: BOSCH WFP 3300 FAULT CODE F05

Bosch part number 496875 is the motor end frame surely Gegsy, it’s £40 odd ?

BS12102 is the pattern alternative as Bosch don’t supply those type of brushes on their own. The terminal is made that way to connect where the old brush was connected, I’ve not fitted a pair for a while but I’ve not had any connection problems with them 🙂

    Some technical blurb on them:

special terminals to eliminate the need for soldering in to the carbon shield

    Hope this helps.

The safety thermal fuse has failed I expect.

Is the timer/clock still running ?

It sounds as if you have a blockage or the drain pump has failed.

Check the waste outlet etc, if you decide to look further inside don’t forget to unplug :zap:

I would have thought most engineers would be able to help though as the water drain parts etc are no different on LG than any other dishwasher to be honest 😉

Odd one this, E8 certainly refers to the water diverter but if it’s been replaced 😕

Thinking about it though, how does the PCB know the diverter is faulty ? I can’t see any pressure switches or diaphragms anywhere in the water circulation area.

Is there a blockage anywhere or filters misplaced/missing as this can cause it according to Smeg’s tech info ?

If it were the other way round (1 flashing and 5 on) it would be an E1 error but that is an unknown one you have there 😕

Engineer time to be honest as other components failing can cause odd error codes on these (software gets confused ;))

If you let it run does it not show any error codes (lamps flashing) ?

Hmm, there’s certainly a lot of complaints about them 🙁

So, they offer an enhanced listing and charge extra for it even though a customer would still find you from the free listings which they obviously get from BT as I am listed on there with a non-advertised number and they have never made contact.

The only hope really is if they have misrepresented their services or overcharged.

What are the dealings so far ?

    Re: Hotpoint CTD85/31358 Condensor Dryer

There’s some technical blurb on this model on Partfinder about replacing the thermostats and thermistors as a kit which seems more likely.

Serial number required to identify the correct one, 31358 is too short ?

What’s the full model number ? The codes should be in the known error codes thread in the trade technical forum.

Can you hear the motor (compressor) running all the time and never cutting out as this sounds like a system failure to me ?
