Sorry, I was informed just after the new year that all Maxol spares are now obsolete.
The only other way is a universal oven door seal, but I’d need to see the old one, can you take a picture and email it to me ?

This ia a Whirlpool made dishwasher.
The flashing light indicates there is a fault Sue which will need an engineer’s attention. Most commonly it’s the NTC (temperature sensor) which isn’t a major job to put right.
Please try repairs@ and the directories and see if there’s one in your area, or pop up your postcode.

Re: Bosch dishwasher not pumping out
If it’s blocked with food then it becomes customer misuse as any “lumps” should not even be in there in the first place, hence the charge, or possible charge.
When you phone Bosch customer services, ask them to send you manual, they are supplied free of charge. I’m sure the manual will help explain things more clearly for you, including the terms of the guarantee.

There isn’t much in it really, they are both reasonable quality mid-range appliances.
My personal opinion and preference would be the Bosch 😉

Tried that now Lawrence, nothing.
The trouble is, most of the manufacturers don’t give the spec of the cut-out on the spares lists, only the part number so it’s pot-luck on whether the temperatre is correct.
All of them are much the same, but as this is a safety device, it has to be correct.
I have managed to locate the Campini website and also Klixon who make the same type of cut-outs.
They won’t sell in singles though as they are factory level. My next step is to ask them both for a UK supplier of these parts.
Now I’m on a mission………… 😀

No that is not good.
Please unplug it from the socket and don’t use it again until it has been checked for electrical safety (for your own saftey).
Perhaps it’s time for an engineer Steve ? It may not be as bad as it seems, sometimes drain pumps can overheat and do this.

Just to correct you there before there’s any confusion John.
They are not the same Merloni, they just happen to both be owned by Italian families with the same surname.
One is Antonio Merloni who owns Servis in the UK, the other is Merloni Elettrodomestici (now known as The Indesit Company) who own Indesit, Ariston, Hotpoint Creda etc.
The two owners are, I believe brothers though.
