The green/yellow lead is the earth, the other two don’t matter which way round they go 😉

Make sure it’s disconnected from the supply !!

    Hope that helps.

A standard Italian universal one will do the trick John, you can get one here in the shop:

Somethings not right that’s for sure.

Overloading can cause it as can opeing the door before the cooling down period at the end.

More likely though there is a heat control problem or the air is not being circulated quickly enough.

May be time for an engineer ?

From GIAS, the service side of the Hoover/Candy group:

There are pumps available for this I believe, probaly asking the advice of a reputable plumber would be the best course of action on this Joseph.

    Hope this helps.

I probably should have asked before but is the tray warm, or more importantly the water in it ?

Most evaporation trays are sat right on top of the compressor with no gap, so, is there a cold air draught behind it causing the air between them to cool ?

It sounds to me as if there’s not enough heat there to cause evaporation 😕

I have to say I agree 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} with all of those sentiments John 😀

And what the hell are you buying/selling on Ebay then ? 😉

Well, it’ll either be short of gas or the compressor has failed by the sounds of it.

So, given the cost price of the Beko, economically it’s an unviable repair in my opinion.

If you come to replace it,(don’t take this the wrong way as it’s meant as good advice) please don’t be drawn by the low price this time eh 😉

    Ingore the above please.

It’s nothing to do with Conditioner as I’ve just had some helpful info passed to me.

Go with Clyde’s suggestion as it’s an electronic error and requires an engineer to rectify.

    Re: indesit wie157s “-con” error

I’m sure someone else had this error some months back but I can’t remember what it was as the fault code described isn’t on any of the tech info as far as I know.

I think it relates to the conditioning rinse, hence the “con”.

Do you use conditioner Steve ? If not, try some and see if it’s still there at the end of the cycle 😉

Re: Hotpoint RLA 80 Larder Fridge

You’re correct John, the heat from the motor should cause the water to evaporate.

How close is the tray to the top of the motor ?

I know of one other manufacturer that had them positioned incorrectly causing exactly this complaint.

Complete Halogen unit only I’m afraid 🙁

It’s been a few years now since any manufacturer supplied the tubes on there own, even then they were OTT with the prices.

There is an alaternative that I may be able to supply from Merloni as the Creda/Hotpoint one’s are relatively cheap by comparison, pretty much all of the hotplate units are made in the same place.

A photo with dimesions and showing the connections please and I’ll dig around a bit 😉

The point I was making is that negotiations of this sort should not be made and put upon those carrying out the work without consultation 😀
