Re: AEG OKO Lavamat washing machine knob broken

There definitely won’t be a pattern spare available 😉

If you post up the model number etc and I’ll check the price for you, although it will almost certainly be the same as you have been quoted by AEG.

Alistair, if you follow the link below, it will take you to our directories section listing some engineers in the LA postcode area.

Well, it throws the Smeg theory out of the window 😆

I know the one’s you mean though, which would explain why Gerryo saw a likeness with the Zanussi one, the impellor is not encased when the motor is removed as it fits directly in to a chamber on the sump.

We just need Gerryo to confirm how many fixings it has.

Hinges or hinge sockets Graham ?

The hinge socket kit is readily available, I may have one or two of the hinges, before I go hunting can you confirm.

    Cheers.

    Re: Indesit WG1130T

From memory I think it’s the cold nearest the outside of the machine.

Why they aren’t marked on some Indesit models is beyond me frankly 🙄

Once you’ve connected the hoses, put the machine on the final rinse and spin setting, it should only then take cold water, you can check by opening the dispenser drawer slightly, if hot water is coming in then they are the wrong way round.

Don’t put any washing in though until you are sure-just in case 😉

    Re: Bosch sps5462GB/18

If the circulation pressure is low it won’t heat as the heater is activated by a pressure switch.

There’s another thread here recently about Bosch dishwashers with poor water circulation.

    Re: Door reversal Hpt’ CTD00

The door switch appears to be centrally located so it should be straightforward enough by the looks of it.

Is it not described in the user manual ?

Let us know your postcode Rcheleski, someone here should be able to fit for you and very probably supply as well.

Could you also check the full model as 8502 is the second half, it should be preceded by three letters ADP or similar.

Re: diplomat tumble dryer triping rcd

    Indeed Kevin !

Sorry, I got a bit carried away with the advice there 😳

Disconnecting the element while the appliance is running is not a good idea at all.

I would suggest that the element is removed and taken for testing or better still, call an engineer to make a correct diagnosis for you.
