I am trying to work out which one is which, even though one is describred as a thermostat and the other an overheat cut-out the diagram is not good shall we say 😉

Good point – £35 and £45 for gas we are getting. A rate increase that I asked about earlier this year that most agents got was declined as I hadn’t been on the D&G network long enough to earn one apparently 🙁

I’ve heard of it, we had 4 on one new site to do :eeek:
It entails changing the shock absorbers (that’s the easy bit) and the door boot which took over an hour and a half !! :haier:
Firstly, it did not work, secondly, if they insist on it being done, charge at least a double rate per appliance as they agreed to pay us this for them.
We still had to go back two weeks later and swap them all in the end for lower spin speed models 🙄

Merloni, which includes Hotpoint – Indesit – Ariston – Cannon – Creda and a few other brands use a third party logistics company called Fixt to deliver to all the Independants, I’m not sure how they deliver to the sheds though to be honest. I believe they have localised distribution points, Don may enlighten more on this.

The wiring diagram is only available in the service manual knobby @ circa £15 for most of them 🙁
Normally though the length of the leads is enough as the two to the right hand stat as you look from the back should be longer in theory unless the guy has cut them back.

A Nardi made one then.
R6300077 is the part number, although I don’t have one and it would probably be after Xmas by the time it arrived.
Woz may have them in stock at Expert Appliance Care (he’ll hopefully see this in the morning), failing that if you phone Caremark on 0870 7502435 as they will almost certainly have them.

I need to speak to them anyway as I have seen a significant drop off in work recently, not just Brandt.
Also, if it’s any interest, Richard Dalley has shown a lot of interest in the Brandt thread over the last few days 😉
Dave Jones had a phone call last week from D&G asking if he would take on Admiral and Maytag work, which he declined, I had no such call from them, anyone else had this call ?
I’ll see if I can find out more.
