Kev, while I was sat in that car wash tonight I never imagined such a beast :eeek: 😉
I’m all behind it 🙂

Great 😀
Sorry about the delay/mix up, it happens with some of the imported stuff supplied with kitchens.
Enjoy your hot grub and thanks for the comments 😉

ParticipantRe: SatNav
Yep, I would’ve ended up at the same place with my Readers Digest road map 😉
Joking and p1ss taking aside, SatNav has it’s place, I can see the day when most if not all vehicles will have it fitted as standard.
I wonder how many acccidents are caused by drivers struggling to look at a road map 😕

You don’t need the serial number Kieth, that is a very common part and we keep them in stock normally, if we don’t have any I can get one within a couple of days for you.
I have recieved the email you sent and I’ll reply to it in the morning when I’m at the office with more details about stock and price etc.

ParticipantRe: Names!
Well if it’s going to be a block like the shop@ one that has descriptive text under it then it’s not as important as I first imagined.
My fear was just an additional link being added on the main nav panel that didn’t exactly describe itself (i.e. “directories”) if you see what I mean 😉
My vote’s with repairs@
No offence Chris you old glacier dweller 😀

ParticipantRe: Dyson washing machine stuck in test mode
I don’t think this is actually in a test cycle thinking about it, it’s still in the “demo” mode I’ll wager.
We had a display model in our showroom some months ago and you can enter it in to a demonstration cycle that runs continuously.
Perhaps Don may remember how to do it.
I’ll check back tommorow Andy 😉

ParticipantRe: Terim
There you go 😉
Shame that the information isn’t more readily available, not that that’s any reflection on you Richard but you’d think Terim would at least have a small website in the UK with some kind of info on it for service and spares.

OK, thanks Richard, I don’t personally hold an account with you but a few of the guys here do I would think.
At least we now know we can help out the unlucky one’s who have a failure on the lead up to Christmas 😀

Ta Kev, that brightened my day up no end.
No tech info coming out of the Dyson camp Andy, I just phoned my mate who worked for them and he can’t remember as he only ever saw 1. Dyson will not tell you either. 🙁

They’ve had a few mentions of late in the forums, taking £18 a call etc, they only deal with the public by the looks of it, and not to be trusted.
Flipper wrote:Trubshaw setting up a new network/service company with Mr. Brock ex powerhouse man . Do we think it will get off the ground.
LMFAO ! If that wanker thinks that anyone in this industry would carry out work for anything he’s invloved in 😉
Flipper wrote:also been told there are going to be some major changes in where some insurance companys going to put there work next year.
Very possibly true, I would imagine they are always “shopping around” for the best deal. I’m sure we’ll learn more if anything develops.

Why are the best answers always the blindingly obvious, yep, I’d go along with that 😀

So those who see the shop@ also see the “UKWrepaiman” advert with a link to ejobs and not the directories.Yep, seems like a good idea, UKW-Repairman also a good choice for the name ? 😀
kheath wrote:Those in the directories should not be added to the ejobs unless they apply like the rest of us have…..
Yep, thats what I meant, but ask them to apply as they have already made the effort to have their details added to the directory.
kheath wrote:Oh and call it …..UKW@home…..or UKWinhome
Why ? Put yourself in the mind of the public, if they are looking for a repair solution and they see “need a repair?” or “UKW-Repairman” or similar it will attract them surely ?
