    Re: Bradshaw Group

This is not good, not good at all IMO.

As I said previously, I’ve seen the documentation from both sides and this is clearly a case of bully boy tactics from Bradshaws. What is shocking though is that they have all the required invoices etc and still refuse to recognise this.

So, while Ken may not ask anyone to “rally” the cause, I certainly will and I would ask UKW members to think about how we should go about helping.

I would like to think that if any UKW member were to be faced with a similar predicament that they would also receive the same support and backing of us all, that’s part of what this is all about.

    Your thoughts please.

That would be Martin’s patch but he doesn’t do refrigeration repairs, perhaps he could recommend someone locally that does ?

Re: Hoover TV30 wont heat up?

It’s almost certainly the thermal fuse embedded in the heater unit, the recommended repair is a heater unit relacement normally.

Maybe best to get an engineer to be honest, if you need help with finding one, please feel free to pop your postcode up here.

Possibly something else I would imagine.

Bear in mind the module alone is roughly £80 or so, given that another fault within the appliance may well have caused the fault I would recommend an engineer takes a look at it for you.

If you need help with this, please post your postcode or have a look in the directories for an independant repairer.

    Hope this helps.

Tim, it would only be resolved by carrying out the manufacturers recommended modification, quite a straightforward job by all accounts.

One of the UKW engineers should be able to help you out with this, if you let us know where are by postcode, someone should pick it up for you.

Re: diplomat 8322 dishwasher potential problem?

Dave, I would imagine the problem was resolved by using a good quality detergent and a seperate rinse aid agent.

As Penguin rightly pointed out, due to low water levels used in modern dishwashers multi “talented” tablets don’t work in practice 😉

Sounds like a bad install to me Tony, or the cooling fan isn’t running.

It could just be a cr@p oven that doesn’t have a cooling fan of course 😉

Nope, don’t close the door, power on with the on/off switch then press the prog button 4 times, make sure the two outermost lights are on, if they are, switch off with the on/off switch, then back on again.

After that it should be reset.

The fault you describe though may not be cured by the reset procedure as it’s the E2 fault which will need an engineer to rectify more often than not, it’s worth a try though 😉

    Re: Cheap waste hoses

I haven’t got any here as yet, I was offered them at silly money and thought I’d pass the offer on to the UKW subscribers 😀

I can order as many as I like, I’ll order 10 extra for Martin.

E7 is a software error where the PCB is expecting to find a flow meter when there actually isn’t one in the machine 😕

Don’t ask me why though 😉

If the drum isn’t rotating at all it could be one of a number of things to be honest.

The belt, the carbon brushes worn, the motor or the control unit.

Probably best to ask an engineer to look at it for you Lucy, if you need help finding one, let us know your postcode or take a look in the directories from the main menu on the left.

You can’t download them, if you phone BSH Appliance Care on 08705 543210 (Bosch/Neff/Siemens service) they will supply one for you, normally they are free of charge.
