Spud, could you re-check the model number as it is not listed on the MFI spares information CD Rom. It should be on the rating plate inside the fridge somewhere, probably next to the salad bin.
Regards.

ParticipantRe: Whats the most annoying thing customers do?
One of the most annoying things (and it happened today, which reminded me) is customers who ask for professional advice, then argue with you, and tell you you are wrong 😕

ParticipantRe: TOC for Creda dryer
Seems I remembered the wrong part number then 🙂
Not far out on the price though, Hotpoint list price is £13.16 plus postage. If you need one email me directly I can post one up to you.

iamamouse, has the heater unit got two identical looking thermostats on it ? If so, they come as a pair in a kit from GDA/Hotpoint/Creda. Part number 1741124 if memory serves me correctly (sad isn’t it, at home and i can remember part numbers 😕 ) Approx £13 for the pair. I will confirm in the morning for you.

I wonder if the more recent models have the name Merloni on them somewhere.

And a very valid one as well Del IMO. I have heard recently the case of a WP charging back calls to agents when they had no indemnity insurance for that particular contract.
Shameful really 😡

ParticipantRe: Most ridiculous part price
Sorted for you 😀
Glad to see there are still rip off merchants out there charging double the “real” price 🙁

You may be right there. Bugger all pasta all then 😀

HOUSEHOLD-ELECTRIC.
Microsoft Word translation tool comes in handy sometimes 😉
Dunno about the Indesit fault though, I’m as baffled as you with the damn things 😕 Bonzaco is a bit of a whizz with the Indesit faults.

ParticipantRe: zannusi error code E90
Snuggles E90 is a PCB problem. It is either a communications breakdown between the two pcb’s or a software/configuration error. Either way it’s best not get involved unless you are an engineer with the facility to get hold of the configuration information for these machines.
If you need an engineer’s help, post you’re postcode area here and someone should be able to help you further who is local to you.
Hope this helps.

I did, after a reminder, thanks Lawrence 😉
Robin KMP4120 is £309 in 5’s and £299.10 in 10’s. This has the d-lock feature to stop it taking the rcd’s out. I also mailed http://www.test-hire.co.uk/ to see if they come up with anything on this model and the KMP4116 as well.
More soon 8)
Dave.
