the wires to the cap often break off also. so inspect it before you replace:)

pull out the plug if it is burned then there is your fault if not then will the dryer start again after about 20 mins if so then it is the relay.

is it not in the known error codes list for new hotpoints you use the same errors as indesit so check f02 for an indesit:)

just to clarify i was talking about the flashing light i have only seen door locks and boards fail that cause that.

but i have also seen scraped wires on the base blow the board although i have never come across a wma with a faulty motor yet although evryone else seems to have just lucky eh

    Re: servis m3102a-s noise problem

I have often found scraping noises to be bra underwires and bent heaters.
examine the drum of the machine for any dents scrapes sharp points etc.
if you find a groove all the way around then this may be the damage caused by a heater or a coin etc, if there is a bra underwire caught then 9 times out of ten you can feel it poking throguh the holes in the drum.

    Re: WMA 54

i have just been having a good scoot about it, it has got a plastic bracket behind the door hinge, the wiring clips are straight from an indesit and the wholmachine just feels different tiny differences all over
right down to the fact that the heater wires actually come off without 5 men and an ass to pull at them 😆

I charge £35 per hour plus vat so its £41.13 the fact that the customer gets the ten pound callout discounted off the repair gets me a lot of business on callout that would sooner ring around for estimates or do the job theirselves.

    Re: WMA 54

I do a hell of a lot of wma series bearings and i have never seen these in them before i think i might just get a full wma tub and put it in rather than putting in a drum half from indesit.
but i would rather use a bearing kit if any does know
    thanx though:)
