    Re: SIMPLE PCB REPAIR TIPS

I don’t know if this is elsewhere on the site.
    Whirlpool capricorn boards for ovens.
If there’s no visible damage to board when you get the F03 fault, cut the resistors the same as you would for a new board.

Most times, it’ll work as it’s only the software that’s corrupted.

If anyone needs the table for the resistors, let me know and I’ll post them.

Re: whirlpool akz451 power unit configuration

Few years since I worked for them I’m afraid, but, the information I have is as follows:

When setting the configuration code manually note that step 2 has to be completed within 60 seconds.
    1. Rotate Function Selector to the “OFF” position then
    disconnect oven power supply.
    2. Reconnect the power, push and hold the Option Selection
Button for 5sec, the Acoustic Alarm Beeps.
    3. Push the Option Selection Button 4 times consecutively
within 8 seconds. The Configuration Code is shown in the
    display.
    4. Push and hold the Option Selection Button for 5 seconds.
The value in the display will now start to flash.
Rotating the +/- Knob changes its value.
    5. Push and hold the Option Selection Button again for 5
seconds to store it, the display stops flashing.
    6. Leave the machine for 2 minutes or disconnect then
reconnect the oven power supply or rotate the Function
Selector clockwise to “OFF” position to exit the setup.

It will only show certain errors to the customer.
You have to go into diagnostics for the engineer error.
Or, press and hold the start/pause button and the button to the left of it together while the machine is in a programme.
It will display the engineer error code.

    Re: zanussi ZWF16281W 92500300

Have you checked for a stored error?
Have you done a reset on the pcb?

If all you get is the drain pump running, go into diagnostics and then slowly turn through each position clockwise. When you get to off, switch it on and off again.
Try it again, the pcb is reset.

PNC isn’t recognised and there are 4 machines coming up with the model number.

    Hiya,
Is this the same as the Micromark oven?

Original switch is around 4 rows of connectors and the new is 8?

    Re: SMEG RANGE COOKER SUK91MFXS

    Hiya,
I’ve got information for an SUK91MFX5, can’t find an MFXS though.

If it’s the MFX5 then the wiring diagram shows the lamps are fed in two ways.

The door switch and the selector switch both supply the lights.

I would imagine that opening the door brings the lights on and closing it puts them off (assuming the selector isn’t switched on).

PM me your email address and I’ll send the diagrams to you.

    Re: New Electrolux Washer (Chinese)

    Hiyas,
Just went on a hunt for the service manual for this but can’t find one for it on Pro Corner or Electrolux online. Has it been removed for a new translation?
I did notice in the user manual that the error codes have changed. E50 customer code is now a Voltage too high code and not a motor circuit fault.

Did anyone download and keep the service manual?
    Any chance of a copy?

    Hiya,
    Yep, that’s the one.
Can’t seem to find your previous post though.

Do you still have the info that was sent to you?
Most of mine looks like it’s been dragged through bad photocopiers.

    Thanks

    Hiya,
I’ve got the wiring diagram for the CM10F and it shows thermal cut outs on live and neutral supply.

If you want the diagram, pm your email address and I’ll send it to you.

    Hiyas,
    Thanks for that lads.
I can get the parts OK, it’s the wiring diagram, particularly for the power board and transformer in the base that I’m after.

They’ve had 4 different engineers to it replacing all sorts of parts, including the power board in the base.
I’ve no idea if it’s wired correctly though.

    Thanks

    Re: De Dietrich Washing Machine

    Hiya,
    OK, saw this machine today.
I’m now after a wiring diagram for it.
The machine fills on the wash, drum rotates anti clockwise, heater is on.
The drum stops, I can hear “click, click, phut” then the machine stops. No power to heater and no motor action.

There is a transformer alongside the main board in the bottom of the machine, could it be the transformer causing the problem?

    Thanks
    Brian 🙂

Re: Tricity Bendix President Double Oven Thermostat R&R

    Hiya,
Use this changeover from the list you posted.

    Splashback appliance:
Remove connection (double tag) from F and connect to C on new stat, then cut off small link (2a to timer)
Remove connection from 2 and connect to 2a
Remove connection from 6 and connect to A on new stat.
Remove connection from G/H and connect to B on new stat.

If you would like the original wiring diagram to help you, pm your email address to me and I’ll send it to you.
You’ll find the instructions make a bit more sense then.
