Don’t know the model you refer to but if it’s the electronic pressure switch then there is no click heard at all. They’re normally very small and just a plug and socket job for the electrics.

F7 = Flow meter failure. Inlet valve defect or water inlet hose blocked. v

The other thing to check is the connections to the module and meter on the air brake. If all ok there then the pressure switch is next point to check. (new models apparently have a lens in the bowl?? haven’t come across one yet, and cleaning that sometimes works).

Re: Whirpool knobs out of sync

I’ve got one of the Servis based integrated washer dryers on the go just now. Only installed and tested it 3 weeks ago and the timer was spot on.
Called out to it twice now and the timer is approx 120 degrees out of sync. The knob and inner are definitely in the right place and the timer hasn’t been removed at all. (Paperworks gone now and I can’t remember the model).
Sometimes I wish I’d stuck with fixing Merloni stuff. Tub changes are easy, no thought required. 😕

Haven’t done very many of these but the few that I’ve done have all had blockages between the Matrix and sump. One or two have also had weak valves. To date have never needed to change the Matrix.

If there is only 1 flash then it’s an NTC fault, two flashes is water inlet fault. Sorry, don’t have the rest of the codes.
    Hope this helps

Seem to remember seeing “universal” seals. You basically cut each side to length and joined them with supplied clips. Mind you, That was a long long time ago.

If it’s not a washer dryer, take out the door interlock. If there is a microswitch fitted to it, bypass the microswitch and try the machine.
Sorry, although I work on Whirlpool machines I get lost with their model numbers. Too may different models for my liking.

Alex, Merloni were lying to you. I worked for a Merloni agent and we replaced front and rears because of the problem with distortion.

OK, I stand corrected on this one, I would have (did infact) go for the motor. As to information on Merloni stuff, the guy I used to work for is a wizard on it. I still phone him for advice despite the fact Merloni pulled the plug on him when they took on Hotpoint Engineers.

Sounds more like the “wash” windings have burnt out in the motor.
As to the Eprom thing. Prior to a certain date Merloni machines had a module with plug in Eprom. You had to order these seperately. After the date code change a “universal” module was used and the Eprom is soldered into the board. Early modules used “big” plugs, newer ones use a mixture of big and small plugs.
Servis are bound to go the same way. Servis belongs to Antonio Merloni who is brother of the Merloni’s who own Indesit. You’ll find the range of machines are very similar and a lot use the same components.
Hope this is of some use to you.

Small, intermittent leaks can come from the backplate seal band.
To flood a kitchen and lounge I’d be looking for a blockage in the pressure system.
I have come across the blocked dispenser hose too but as the machine isn’t receiving water the programmer shouldn’t move.

Re: Whirlpool Dishwasher model ADG 722 AV start light flashi

A common problem is the pressure switch, followed by the temperature probe. If you watch the flashing light it should flash a number of times, pause, then repeat. The number of flashes translates to the fault found. Sorry, but I have to telephone technical for the translation.
If the anti flood device has been activated the machine won’t take water in at all. Only the drain pump will run.
    Hope this helps.

    Re: zannusi error code E90

Glad I read this one. I’ve to see one of these machines this week giving error codes E20, E40 and E90. The configuration code is on the main pcb label. I have the information for configuring these but as it’s rather long winded (several pages) I’d have to send a copy.

Re: Diplomat intergrated dishwahser ADP 8132

OK. First off I don’t know offhand what the error code is, I normally have to call technical for that. From memory my guess is, safety stat has tripped. Located beside the heater. Some have a reset button, some don’t. If no reset button, gently prise the cover off and press down on the centre of the contacts to reset.
The blockage in the sump/airbrake line normally gives 1 and 5 flashing, the actual fault for this code is anti flood device activated.
Is the appliance brand new? or has it been working for some time?
If not new then there may be a blockage in the pressure system somewhere, turning down the water inlet pressure may work as the water will have more time to pass the blockage before activating the overfill. You should also note that these machines have to fill within a certain time or you get another error up.
If it’s brand new, check that the drain is high enough or you’ll be losing water as quick as it fills. Other thing to check is under the sink, has the spigot still got it’s plug in?
Resetting the pcb is quite easy. Sadly, although I can remember how to get it into diagnostic mode, I can’t remember how to get it out again. I’ll try and remember to ask next time I speak to technical.
Hope this is of some help to someone.
