If you remove the belt and spin the drum by hand and the noise is still there then the bearings are going. This machine has the dreaded Inde***t sealed tub and would not be a cost effective repair.
If it were me I would go out and buy a new machine but not an Indesit or Hotpoint :rolls:
Bosch are well worth a look 😉

It does sound like you have an internal gas leak and what you can hear is the remainder of the gas running around the system. Which is why only part of the pipework is getting cold.
Of course only an engineers visit can confirm this. Have you tried our find an engineer function

It does sound like it’s bearing failure, have you taken the belt off and spun the drum by hand? if it runs silent then the bearings are probably okay and the problem lies elsewhere.
If the the bearings have failed and your machine is under five years old Hotpoint will cover the whole repair for £110. If it’s over five years old it will probably be cheaper to replace rather repair.
Having had a quick look at the drawings there are quite a few versions of your machine, the random choice I took indicates your machine has the Inde***t sealed tub syndrome :rolls:

Both hot and cold need to be connected for the machine to function correctly.
Simple solution is to fit a Y piece. There are cheap plastic ones around but I prefer to use a brass one more expensive but much more durable.

Don’t go trying to repair it yourself as you could invalidate the guarantee. Return it to the retailer for repair / exchange.

Moderator r600a aka Bryan is the Samsung expert. But at this time of day he will still be out on his own calls, but will more than likely check in later.
I did have a look myself but I could not access Samsung spares via Connect distribution log in and also Google search didn’t throw anything up.
Probably best to check back in this evening when more are online.
