We went for a Beko and so far it has been really good, it’s now four years old and does what it’s supposed.

    Hi

From a safety aspect I totally agree with your installers, cooker hoods are notorious for holding grease etc in the filters if it did catch fire you would be adding fuel to it by using the extra space for storage.

Pages 11 and 12 of the Bosch instructions here is the way to go in order to stay safe.

Stock availability has improved a little but it’s still very grim.

For example Whirlpool group so that’s Indesit and Hotpoint as well. On freestanding they have:

40 washing machines of which 5 in stock lead times vary from 1 to 4 plus weeks

35 tumble dryers of which 2 in stock lead times 1 to 4 weeks plus

62 freestanding cookers of which 2 in stock 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} have lead times of 4 plus weeks

54 fridge freezers 12 in stock 70{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} 4 plus weeks

37 dishwashers 1 in stock and 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} have lead of 4 plus weeks.

I have not looked at built in!!

    BSH group

I can email you the stock files if you wish to have a gander?

Ice King , Montpellier, Beko etc very poor availability across all product groups.

The only two I am aware of are the Zanussi ZTE7101PZ and it’s sister the AEG T65170AV both have three way vents.

Right then, the door position no. 221 isn’t even listed on the spares document. Position 31 on top drawing has part number 32839-BL which is not available anywhere. You could try ringing Bush spares on 01759 487838 to see if you can get anywhere.

Failing that if the two doors in question are exactly the same size I would visit my local glazing company with the measurements and make the door up yourself. You may have to wait though until lockdown eases 😉

In that case it’s just like lots of other spares and appliances which are out of stock due to the world wide problems. It’s going to be a case of waiting.

In the short term you could get a cheap plastic box to fit temporarily.

They are showing they have limited stock on the Siemens site here I would give them a ring.

As the majority of condenser dryers these days are sensor dryers some do have a timed option usually of an hour max but this does vary a little by some brands. Indesit and Hotpoint still produce a mechanical timer model like the FETC70 and the IDC83TB.

For your use of ten cycles per week you would need to look at Miele or a semi commercial machine.
