ModeratorThe build on the upper Beko machines is no different to the budget ones, yes you will get more functions, bigger capacity etc. The nice thing about Beko is the spares are readily available and at a good price as well.
The difference between 8 and 9 kg is about five gents long sleeve shirts as for spin I would not go over 1400, Water usage is far less per cycle now than twenty years ago, about 50 litres now compared to about 110 twenty years ago.
You cannot wash a full load in 15 minutes on Beko. It’s a 2kg max capacity freshen up cycle. I have just lifted the following from the Beko site which explains the “quick” wash cycles.
“Super Short’ 14 minute Xpress Programme, this new user-friendly appliance takes all the hassle and drama out of doing the laundry.
The 14 minute Xpress programme ‘2kg Super Short’ is invaluable for washing emergencies when clean clothes are needed fast. Simply place that must-have item in the machine and the Beko Xpress ‘Super Short’ Cycle will quickly revive and freshen, providing a simple solution to this common dilemma. The machine offers two further useful time-saving Xpress programmes. The ’28 minute Xpress’, which can tackle a 8kg load at 30 ยบC in just 28 minutes- ideal for clothes that simply need refreshing. Also featured is the ‘58 minute Xpress’ perfect for more grubby clothes in less time-pressured circumstances. This programme allows a 8kg load to run a full 60ยฐC cycle also giving great wash results.”

ModeratorThe Beko machines are about the best in the budget range while Bosch is probably the best in the mid to upper and Miele is still the best of the lot. However the build quality of all machines is not what it used to be. Too many manufacturers are trading solely on price and that’s when the quality disappears.
The features you mention are found on most machines, the idos function is a relatively new addition to some brands, I much prefer the old way of self dispensing ๐
Currently with what’s going on in the world right now you will not get the choice or availability of machines as most are out of stock with very long order times. If you see something that suits order it.

ModeratorThere are multiple versions of the 10750G we would need to know which version, some of the models have more than one available as well! If you are Gas Safe registered you will need to remove the generator and let us know the numbers on it.
If you are not Gas Safe consult their database for the one nearest to you.
Forum rules do not allow us to advise on DIY gas repairs.

Moderatorfantastic cooker back in it’s day. One of the first to have the pop in / out controls.
If it was the grill element which caused the trip to go then a replacement could be made and supplied by TPP Fay in Liverpool.

ModeratorBoth models are from the professional range which are on this link https://www.whirlpool-professional.com/Products/Laundry-Equipment/Washers comparing both the only spec differences are the 4815 has a bowed top to the control panel, has two more wash programmes. You will have to download both manuals to see then extra ones. Attached is the spec sheet which covers both models.
Both are 13A plugged and both are rated at 4.0 Amps well within a normal socket. These machines are made for various markets as they come with a selection of different mains leads you simply select yours and click connect it to the socket on the trailing lead from the machine.
The 4815 is about a ยฃ120.00 more expensive than the 4705.

ModeratorThe Atlantis such as the 3LWTW4705FW does run off a normal 13A socket as Dave says ” the washers did not used to have heaters at all so you have to have a hot water supply” The tumble dryer does need hard wiring to a 30A supply and also needs the metal vent hose due to the large heating element installed.
Don’t forget the catering sites quote prices excluding VAT like Catering Hygiene at ยฃ756.66 plus the VAT = ยฃ907.99, that price is pretty much on par although there are a few which are dearer. Unless you are VAT registered?

ModeratorWhy not fit a 60cm cooker less space for debris between the base unit and the cooker?
Still the same brands as the 50cm ones, Cannon, Hotpoint and Indesit are all one group so will be pretty much the same. The Cannon will be a more solid machine than the other two.
Flavel is owned by Beko so not a lot to choose here but the parts are cheaper.
That just leaves Belling the brand has shrunk somewhat over the last ten years but is still worth considering.
Don’t forget the Gas Safe rules on gas cooker installation must be adhered to like room ventilation, cooker hood height from pan supports, if the cooker is against a wall on one side a 50cm may just clear it. Most instruction manuals give the Gas Safe recommendations for their own products.

ModeratorHi
How do you know you have received a “downgrade”?
The replacement you have received is a good machine by today’s standards, sadly the build quality has gone down since you purchased your previous one in 2009. The prices are now cheaper than then as well. Something has to give so the build quality is inferior.
Looking at your old oven spec I would say you have done well to get a replacement which is as close a match as possible.Don

ModeratorIn that case then contact Vax via their online chat I guess. https://support.vax.co.uk/
