    Re: Maytag dishwasher

I have had a look around but cannot find a piccy to try and identify. So I suppose a phone call to Maytag perhaps. As for the spec it reads well. stainless steel front with silver sides, 12 place setting, triple A rated, five hour start delay, six programmes, five temps, uses only 14 litres and noise level of only 48db and comes with two year guarantee.
The five hour time delay seems a bit strange as you usually get twelve or twenty four hour delay. Could that be the key to the maker I wonder?

The WFO2466 is a 6KG capacity according to spec sheet. Don`t forget they also give a two year guarantee 😀 as well, subject to customer registration. A better deal all round.

    Hi Clive

I have been back to lady I mailed yesterday who did in fact give me duff information 😳 . The WFL2450 was the only washing machine that you could not fit a height reduction kit to. Nothing to do with stacking .
    Sorry to mislead you.

Re: Bosch Maxx WFL2450 stacking kit

    Hi rungidung

First the good news both of those tumble dryers are indeed German manufactured so the build and the performance quality will be good.

The bad news is that the WFL2450 washing machine is the only Bosch model that you cannot stack a tumble dryer on to, due to the under lid construction of the cabinet. Info from Bosch cust care. Lateral thinking required 😉 .

    Hi Linda

There will not be the same choices of these as there are washing machines. It does seem that the German machines do have an edge when it comes to production and build quality and life span.

I can recommend the Bosch WVF2402GB 1200 spin or the WVT2850 1400 spin, Zanussi ZWD 1270W 1200 spin or ZWD 1470W. AEG L12820 which is also a 1200 spin.

If you want the best then Miele WT945SWPS 1500 spin with a free 5 year guarantee parts and labour it will outlast any other domestic machine there is, but it is in exess of a £1000.

Hope this gives you a start point.

    Hi alcapone

The Smeg products have always been of good quality. I wouldn`t let the odd comment or bad review put you off. You could look at Cannon and Stoves but I would think the Smeg would be a good all round bet.

    Good luck

    Hi ezman

Thanks for the pictures, I`ve had a look and it looks like they could be Belling made. If so then the deal is good especially as the hob is ceramic.

    Hope this helps

    Hi ezman

I`ve had a look at these on the Curry`s web site while there is no picture to give a clue to origin, the spec does read well and as you say they had a “good feel” to them then the quality is possibly there. The price is good at £499 and is an exclusive to them. All in all a good deal.

Gorenje is looked after by Bosch service 08705 678910

Balay was the Spanish/ Portugese budget range of Bosch, so as above.

We have Whirlpool w/m d/w t/d chest freezer and combi m/w complimented by a Bosch dishwasher, did have a Whirlpool before that but circulation motor leaked and cream crackered board so bye bye W.pool.
