    HI K

But just think of the extra revenue events like this bring into the local economy and all the extra whisky and haggis that gets sold.
Typical scot eh 😉 never happy unless he is having a moan. 😀

    Penguin

I saw Flintoff at Bristol the other sunday score his maiden ODI century and yes while I agree with you he is only one player if you get everyone else out cheaply then I think we have a good chance. Will be a great game
whatever the outcome c`mon you Hawks 😆 .

    Hey Martin.

You being a Hants supporter as well as myself 😀

I have just heard that Hants are at home to Lancashire in the quarter final
of the twenty twenty competition at the Rose Bowl Southampton. Are we going to have a banter with Penguin 45 about this?

    Hi
One of the few indies left in the Bournemouth area is Fry`s used to be called George fry. They have branches in and around the area. The only thing I don`t know is what makes or area they now cover.

    Hi Martin

I think it is an American washer similar to the Whirlpool semi commercial
which we see in this country. They are sold through amongst others the Sears group IIRC. If this is the case and Chuck does live in the USA, could this be the first enquiry to go into the USA and territories forum .

    Hi

The Siemens range starts with the WXLM146GB, which price wise would compare to the Bosch WFX2867GB which is towards the upper end of Bosch Exxcel range. Bosch have three ranges starting point is Classixx then Exxcel and top of the range Logixx. I always recommend at least an Exxcel machine or higher to my customers. As for Siemans depending on what you are looking for and what budget is available you can go almost go to four figures . Both these two manufacturers have web sites www….appliances.co.uk Or you could consider Miele which IMO is still the no.1 machine on the market, from the outer casing to the construction internally and the life span I know of some of these still working after twenty years use. One way of looking at it is pay approx £300 for new machine lets say you get 8 years life not bad I hear you say, Buy a Miele W526 for approx £670 and with it comes a FREE 5year parts and labour guarantee if you purchase before 30/11/2004 ( typical price £200) so the machine you could say only cost £470 add onto that the potential life span. Even if the technology changes to powder or water for example the Miele is PC updateable as well. So the £300 machine over eight years = £37.50 per year or the Miele inc guarantee comes out about £33.50 year over the potential twenty years. In the long run I know what I would do 😉 .

    Re: UK Whitegoods Limited

I would deffo consider buying shares into UKW.
A brilliant idea which would further the site and members and possibly open up other avenues of mutual benefit.

The only areas of concern I can see is what the “rights” of shareholders would be, ie annual reports, voting and inspection of accounts and minutes etc, or am I taking this too far and missing the point / plot

On a lighter side could we apply for B.O.G.O.F 😉

What a cracking decision by Ken and the team to decide on these two gentlemen. Both post with humour, tact and enjoy good banter, long may it continue. I have noticed on the forums this morning that demo has been appointed as a moderator well so well done you. But wot no kwatt as moderator can it be true that the members have finally got to him and he`s handed it over . I am hearing rumblings from beyond Hadrians wall, me thinks I should go and hide quickly .

    Hi Jef

There is indeed a lack of double built in ovens these days, however I have this week sold three of them which is very unusual indeed.
From the manufacturers we deal with there are two models
Creda S230G available in white, brown, black and stainless steel.
Electrolux EOG9330 available in white, brown or stainless steel.
I personally have no preference as the functions and user controls and build is very similar. The score this week is Electrolux 2 Creda 1.
Hope this helps in you`re search.

Just caught up with this thread and I am also sorry to hear the news.
I worked for CRS when Alan was the audio and photographic buyer,
before he moved across to Care 4. I can honestly say that on the times that we have met he has been an absolute gent. I too hope he stays in the industry. People like him are very rare in this day and age.
