It will still last longer than some of the current crop of rubbish that is currently available.

ModeratorI have no vested interest in Liebherr. Having been an appliance retailer and sales tech for over fifty years I like to think I know a thing or two when it comes to which appliances are best in terms of build and reliability.
Trade engineers and retailers have direct accounts and yes while the price of spares is higher than most those above are for the public domain. Also bear in mind the older the product the higher the spare prices tend to be, which is the same for all manufacturers.

ModeratorIn that case the hose in question is probably going into a standpipe. As before track the grey crinkly hose to see where it goes and investigate with your nose 😉

ModeratorYou need to follow the grey crinkly waste hose if it connects to the sink waste check the trap at the bottom of the waste. It usually unscrews be careful as there will be water and sludge in there.

ModeratorHi
If the waste water goes out via a sink trap that could be worth checking, also remove the soap drawer and clean it thoroughly including the roof of the housing. Door seal is another area of smelly washers, if it’s black then you have bacteria build up, changing it will help.
After all that there is a whole raft of info on smelly washers and routine maintenance here to read and digest.

This is where I would be as the price is reasonable and for a five year warranty.Don

ModeratorHi Brian
You were very close with your number 😉 The full ENR is SN66D000GB/44
Have attached door area which may help.

ModeratorIf it’s foam then it could be an anti condensation strip similar to dishwasher ones which would be fitted under the worktop.
Best thing to do wmda99 is to post up a photo.

ModeratorSeries 6 and 8 have more bells and whistles and slightly bigger capacity with slightly better energy efficiency. Whereas series 4 is just a good honest workhorse.
Comparison on Bosch site will confirm this.

ModeratorIn the near future there will be only heat pumps available so I am told by several manufacturers. It’s all to do with their A energy credentials!!

The one that really gets my goat is “Beko machines do a full load wash in 15 minutes” NO THEY DON’T.
for goodness sake RTFM and you will see.

ModeratorSorry not added to this but have out all day umpiring 🙂
The biggest thing that gets me every day I am in the shop is 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of customers do not want to spend over £300 on a washing machine, they all want a quick wash under an hour for a full load and oh yes it needs to have a life expectancy of at least eight years.

So while the expectations are high the price has to be cheap.
The market over the last 30 has eroded to such a level there is hardly and margin in it for the retailer, public would rather throw away and buy new again rather than repair.
Build quality needs to drastically improve and prices need to rise dramatically to make it economical to repair which in return would reduce the replacement market and bring value back to the industry and the consumer.
