Fully agree with you Paul, not as if there is ever going to be anything new on it either. Come on AWS, either give us something worth having, make it free, no expiry or forever be bothered by part number requests.

Such a variety of makes there, with dishwashers alone you could find a Smeg, Whirlpool, Merloni, Hairer (if youre really lucky) and Fagor. Baumatic just stick their name on whatever they get hold of.

a lot of the 45cm dishwashers dont have a leak tray as such, would need model number to confirm.

Agreed, but they did recently divorce. Volvo is a posh Ford come to that. At least not a Jag, posh Tata.

    Jim.

You mean some vehicles have side windows that let the rain in then? 😆

have you updated recently Jim? mine often becomes slow at picking up gps but the quick gps fix update usually cures it. IME tom tom is not affected by reflective screens at all (and why should it? It works perfectly well locked up in my glovebox after all), but the screens usually get the blame for other problems. Some other sat navs do have problems though.

personaly I find it an embarresment to our trade. had it been a member of the public then we could put it down to him being just that. Lets face it, a new interlock for that machine would have probably been deemed BER and the machine scrapped. OK he got away with it this time but one thing is for sure, a lot of appliances get scrapped due the engineer just not knowing the appliance and failing to understand whats going on and guessing at an expensive part knowing full well the customer will scrap it and he/she is off the hook at actually trying to repair it.
I am not sure what is more daft, wanting to connect 230volts across an
interlock or actually admitting to the fact and posting it here.
I will give him some help Chris, the best tip of all, dont take on jobs above your level.
