Bob, if you have got 240v to the transformer on the board then it is the board thats duff. Not a common failure on these but sometimes the customers leave them switched on always and the transformer will eventually cry enough.

Could be a number of things from a faulty heater to wires broken in the door which is very tricky to repair safely. Not really a diy job.

Look at the specs for acceleration, top speed and range, I can see Mark getting rid of his Clio 😆

It runs on Windows XP-already outdated!
They can claim all they want, bet it wont deliver though.

You guys obviously dont remember the old Zanussi SL heaters, Absolute pigs and would slit your wrist on the back panel opening at the same time. I think newer machines are easier to remove heaters, its just the plastic drum construction allows little scope for leaverage.

could be the pilot connection on the grill energy regulator isnt completey switching off. Disconnect the the wires from the grill reg to prove this. Think the 2 faults are related. If not then it will be the pcb which times the cooling fan.

tricky one, so many differrent doors. AFAIK the latest 1600 rpm ones use 695260053 (listed as 300mm, but measured where I have no idea)while the 1200 use 695260059 what the difference is I do not know. These are listed at 68.29 retail.
Dont know of any sure fire way to convert part numbers.
    Hope that helps.

Re: Smeg DWI710E1 4 to 5 hr to complete a wash

Depending on software, these dishwashers either do a continuous pump with intermittent bursts of fill for a good 2/3 minutes before the fill proper starts or, the other version is intermiittent fill and intermittent pump for a few minutes. You need to let it complete this sequence before diagnosing the problem.
What I meant by “just off boiling water” is really hot water but not quite boiling. 😉
the non return valve is either in the pump outlet or in the inlet of the pump where it pushes into the sump.
the Coil reference referred to the dispesner coil.

Judging by your description its a classic E2 fault, remove the meetering tank/air break, its only 2 screws and the breather ring inside and give it a good clean, especially the passage through the softner which ends up at the flap at the back of the sump.
