given our form of late I could not possibly comment.

YES! good on you Wigan! I do have a soft spot for Wigan though, probably the most liked of the “Manchester” clubs.

I think officially you are supposed to change the tub half, however someone on here bangs on about using a few sets of steak knives!

Ian, had no response to my email, maybe a confirmation to those that have show interest might be a good idea given the amount of email that goes missing these days.

    You are on 😀

yes, 691650356 is the current part number. I think it may have come in 2 parts in the past, but that number is the complete pcb and clock. hope you (and customer)are sitting down when you hear the price.

No you are not the only one but your terms need to be clear from the moment you make the appointment on the phone (whatever) and that includes how much you are going to charge whatever the circumstances when you get there.
At £10 though you are setting yourself up for the chancers though and to tell the truth the “call out charge” is now a bit of a joke. Try using a flat labour charge and then a lower diagnostic charge for the quick in and out jobs you dont do, who knows you may even attract a better clientel who may appreciate and respect your work and knowledge.

After years of using cordless drills or other electric screwdrivers, (and I am sure Chezza may back me up on this but one of our engineers back in the early 80’s turned up with a cordless and it really was the first time anyone had ever seen one) I put mine down a couple of years ago and went manual and not missed it once. The less weight in the tool bag makes up for the increased hand effort. Still have a big old cordless drill in the van for tedious tub screws etc but for everyday back/front unscrewing its manual all the way these days.

went on my first this week, heater earthed at 13 months old, heater over £30+ had to pay up electroluxe’s £7.50 handling charge made the job total over £100. How come the parts are so expensive?
Levered the heater out using the cabinet front lower strut as a pivot, big mistake! about as strong as a piece of baco foil.

    Re: Damaged machines

no damage noticed here. It did used to be an issued when we sold Asko some years back, nearly every machine would be damaged in some way, packaging does still look the same as it did then but have had very few damaged ISE branded ones over the years.

can you not simply cnacel the superwash and rince before pressing the start button and then next time the user selects cotton it will not select the options?

    Re: Guarantee

you talking about a guarantee card? Worthless anyway and usually ignored and often just a way of collecting customer information to be sold on.
