You will need to refit the rear cover if you haven’t already done so for it to work properly.

    Re: Brexit Stage Left…

This trade has been in decline long before the referendum if you look back to the “Anybody else quiet” thread started in 2007.

Brexit is being used by all kinds of businesses from Jamie Oliver to Cadburys to blame for everything from branch closures and price rises to shrinking chocolate bars.

I don’t need to tell the older forum readers this but a Curlywurly used to be as long as your arm and a wagon wheel was as big as your head and it’s all David Cameron’s fault 😉

How about a Sharp washing machine?
Sub £300 with a 5 year warranty covered in the main by WTA members.
It’s a Vestel in a posh frock but in todays market looks like good value.

Not forgetting folks that the speed limit for a non car derived van on single carriageway roads is 50mph and 60mph on dual carriagways.
There are a few average speed camera stretches of road near me and the goods vehicles on the road effectively reduce the speed down to 50 mph.

    Be careful out there.

I was working for Ariston at the time and everyone was singing that tune.

Ich liebe dich nicht,do liebst mich nicht.

The meaning of which was very appropriate as far as company/employee relations were concerned.

    Yorkshire People
Bill and his wife Blanche go to the Yorkshire Show every year,
And every year Bill would say,
” Blanche, I’d like to ride in that there ‘elicopter “
    Blanche always replied,
” I know Bill, but that ‘elicopter ride is twenty quid,
And twenty quid is twenty quid! “
One year Bill and Blanche went to the fair, and Bill said,
    ” Blanche, I’m 75 years old.
If I don’t ride that there ‘elicopter, I might never get another chance “
    To this, Blanche replied,
” Bill that ‘elicopter ride is twenty quid, and twenty quid is twenty quid “
The pilot overheard the couple and said,
” I’ll make you a deal. I’ll take the both of you for a ride. If you can stay quiet for the entire ride and don’t say a word I won’t charge you a penny!
But if you say one word it’s twenty quid. “
Bill and Blanche agreed and up they went.
The pilot did all kinds of fancy manoeuvers, but not a word was heard.
He did his daredevil tricks over and over again,
    But still not a word…
When they landed, the pilot turned to Bill and said,
” By golly, I did everything I could to get you to yell out, but you didn’t..
    I’m impressed! “
    Bill replied,
” Well, to tell you t’truth
I almost said summat when Blanche fell out,
    But tha’ knows,
twenty quid is twenty quid! “

In certain areas I will only attend if I can park with my vehicle in direct line of sight and in daylight.
Not walking through dodgy areas with my valuable kit on my back.

On some of these you have to remove the stainless cladding which pulls off after the door handle has been removed.
    Awkward but not difficult.

Dismantle drain pump and look for coin or button.
Blow down drain hose from the pump end to make sure it is clear which will by then have covered all possible causes.
If no luck there then get a man in.

The door lock issue is a child safety feature which can be set by the user.
Having said that though my own machine started doing this and I can’t get it to go back to automatic opening. 😕
