hello jane and sorry for the late reply. this fridge is one where the hinge pin sits in the bottom of the door and is in turn screwed into the hinge at the foot of the fridge.
there should be a bigger piece at the bottom of the hinge pin, making it impossible to go inside the door.
that is, unless the door itself is damaged?
also there should be quite a bit of pin outside the door for you to just pull out easily.
are you sure that the bottom of the door isn’t damaged too?Re: Liebherr GN2856 nofrost
hello, it does sound like your problem lies with the evaporator fan not running and circulating the cold air around the cabinet.
if the fan is one with a pcb,(it will be housed in a white plastic box) then you wont get a resistance reading from it.
the fan is switched on by the pcb, but the pcb relies on an impulse from the evaporator sensor.
in order of probability, given the sysmptoms you’ve described, id say the problem could be:-
evap sensor, although id be tempted to change them both while I was in there.pcb.
fan.
fan faults are more common than pcb faults, but as you’ve said, there is no power to the fan motor. do bear in mind though, the evap has to be down to temp before the pcb will give the fan power. obviously the door has to be closed too.

Yes Jim, I enjoyed the game and the afternoon. Rochdale were unlucky in the end and must take positives from a good performance.

This isn’t the 2224 model which takes the jazz board, but an older model.
You’ll need both pcbs as there may be a compatibility issue if you just change one. The main one sits at the back on the left hand side and the other one is behind the dispenser.Re: Liebherr Fridge Door Hinge Pin Stuck Inside Door

It could be a motor problem.
Check that the diverter valve in the motor hasn’t come loose. If it has you can remove it completely.Re: Football Season 2013/14
I watched the United game and at half time Swansea had enjoyed 65{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the possession. Odds for a Swansea win at that point were 13/2 and as much as I like United, I thought those were generous odds, so I logged in to my bet365 account as the game restarted.
I was just entering the three digit security code of my card when United scored. Needless to say, I logged straight off.

Clarets win again to remain second in the championship. Liverpool beat stoke 5-3 with the help of a dubious penalty in an entertaining game. City beat Newcastle after Newcastle have a seemingly good goal disallowed and United get back on track at home v Swansea after a poor first half. Not a bad footballing weekend.

Hello, the fridge has what’s known as a wet wall evaporator. This means that the back wall in the fridge will either be wet or frosted at varying intervals, depending upon which part of the cycle that the appliance is on when you open the door.
The symptoms as described are not entirely clear and so I think it would be better for you to call an engineer.
Yours is a fairly simple appliance and so the fault will either be with the thermostat or the refrigeration system itself. An engineer would be able to tell you.
