    Re: liebherr f2 error code

no need for confusion, that is the part number you require.

the sensor is accessed from inside the fridge, but you’ll have to join the cable at the rear of the fridge, behind the condenser grill.

    cheers.

    Re: liebherr f2 error code

hello, f2 is a fridge evaporator sensor fault, picked up by the pcb when there is a problem with the sensor.
it appears that the sensor you’ve been removing and drying is the air sensor.
the evaporator sensor is situated behind the plate on the back of the fridge.
you’ll need part no: 9590142 and the fitting instructions are in the pack.

    cheers.

Re: work in the north west

    evening sailor jim.

in the main, it’s in warranty work with a bit of insurance company work thrown in.
we do the occasional chargeable job too.
it’s work across the board, refrigeration, laundry and coooking.
daily calls could be tailored to an individual’s skills.

just to add, postcodes covered would be, M, OL, WA, BL, WN, SK.

any help in one or more of these codes would be very welcome.

    cheers.

    Re: BEKO wma1512w

    thanks for that!
i don’t know what i’m doing wrong, but when i search for that model, i don’t get a motor in the list of parts available.
also that is listed as the motor for a 1614.
am i not using the connect site correctly?

    cheers.

    Re: HAUS parts

strange one that, bob. when i search the connect site, using washing machines, then haus, it comes up with a few generic parts and accessories, nothing specific.
when i type in haus parts into the search box, it comes up with quite a few.

    i really didn’t!
i’m going to swear now that when i posted earlier, that part of the thread didn’t appear for me, honest!
    sounds interesting though.

yes shaun, i’d be checking water supply.
the machine should rinse in cold water with no heat cycle at all.
if you’re not sure about the supply, put the machine on a rinse cycle and observe the fill.

    Re: LIEBHERR NOFROST FREEZER

hello onetap, it’s a shame that the repair wasn’t completed or that at least you didn’t get some satisfaction from the engineer’s visit.
it’s always hard to give a definite diagnosis from this side of the keyboard, as opposed to a hands on inspection, but i’ll try and shed some light on your situation.
i despair at the ‘turn it off for 24/48 hrs’ answer. the only time that this approach has any effect is if the door has been left open, allowing the evaporator to over ice. all other times, it just serves to prolong the problem and the associated inconvenience.
the readings from your sensors should be about the 5.9k ohms at 21c. 2.8k ohms would ordinarily suggest a temperature of over 35c.
so, in terms of probability, it seems that you have a sensor fault. (part no: 9590148) the part number is the same for both sensors by the way.
the evaporator fan will not run unless the evaporator is cold. it used to be -15c, but that has recently been changed with the advent of the new sensor kit.
the electronics in the appliance require the evap temp to be a few degrees colder than the air temp inside the cabinet before the fan gets feed from the pcb.
that’s my two penneth from here anyway. of course, you could have a problem with the system or the fan, but these are both unlikely. you could also have a problem with the pcb, but i would say that a problem with a sensor is much more likely than a problem with the pcb.
    hope this helps.

    cheers.

    Re: admiral f/f gc2224

ally that sounds like a pcb fault. the gc2224 was a maytag appliance as opposed to a whirlpool built one.
you can run it through a check to check the integrity of the sensors, via the pcb. instructions will be taped to the underneath of the appliance at the front, on the fridge side.
i would think your problem is the pcb though.

    cheers.

hi mate, before 04/08 part no 324306 and after 04/08 part no 793614.
these part nos are for the fan that sits on top of the oven, there is another one lower down.
