hello ian, did you get sorted?

the housing that the pcb sits in is clipped to the top of the liner.
the clips are accessed from the inside out if you know what i mean.

    cheers.

    Re: Samsung American Style F/F

    just seen your original post!

replacing the water tank is an easy job. the tank is held in the fridge and has two pipes, one gonig to the water valve at the rear of the fridge and one going to a connector under the freezer door.

    cheers.

    Re: Liebherr CNES 3366 F2

hello andy, F2 is a fridge evaporator sensor failure, as opposed to a F4 fault which is the freezer evap sensor. it is slightly easier to fit too.
    same part number.
    i’d go for the sensor.

    cheers.

9590142 is the sensor that superceded the 9590088, which superceded the 6942074.
9590142 is the one that you need.

Re: Admiral SAC224GB – S/S side by side – Freezer not workin

will, defrosting the fridge will only alleviate the symptoms for a while, if it’s iced up that is.
obviously if it’s warm, then there won’t be any ice to defrost.
if the heater is sticking on, then it will be the pcb.
we can only speculate and talk in terms of probability, but old lonely will be able to sort you out.
he’ll either be able to repair it, or he’ll know someone local to you.

    cheers.

Re: Admiral SAC224GB – S/S side by side – Freezer not workin

hi will, mixed signals here i’m afraid. you say that the evaporator is warm? (the unit in the freezer behind the back panel) yet you say that the fridge is ok?
the fridge takes it’s ‘cold’ directly from the freezer and so it’s impossible for the fridge to be ok and the freezer be warm.
if the defrost heater has stuck, then it looks like a pcb fault.
there’s a poster on here by the name of old lonely who should be able to help you.
perhaps worth a pm to him?
    cheers.
