Result I hope.
Customer has used the DW once, since I cleaned out the Diaphragm as suggested by Clive. Had to take it right out of the machine, and remove the plasic grid which protects it, twas full of crud.
Hopefully it will continue to function properly.
Thanks to all for your help, I have learnt a lot regarding this machine.

Will take it from there with Electrue on Monday.
Still looks like I will be doing a temporary sticking job, as it’s a special order.Oh for an easy life, only another 9 years to go 8)

Thanks iadom for that information.
Searching on Electrue Connections, if I enter MER090770 is doesn’t come up with anything.
Am I being stupid, or maybe they dont have that part number on their system. ❓
I’m thinking if all else fails, I will be resticking the old glass back in the old door.

Thanks Dave. 30mm out ??.
There is also a slot and two holes, one each side of the slot, at the top of the 075055 inner panel, that does not exist on the original, all the grease and crud will go down this slot and sit in the bottom of the door.I suppose the problem could be that somebody has packed the wrong part with the right part no. 😡

Just to say it was the module after all, so a reasonable price repair.
Thanks

Thanks Farmboy, I didn’t think it was going to be that easy, thanks for info, will see tomorrow when I get to job.
A very good point re why have a light, 2 reasons I guess, customer says in the handbook it says to call service dept to fit new lamp when it fails, and also gimmicks sell machines, youve only got to look at dyson cleaners.Malc

Had one once where there had been a small spot of arching on metal frame that the inner door glass fits in to, causing a hot spot that shattered the glass.
