“How that could affect the operation of the washer though is beyond me.”
And me too, have ordered one anyway in desperation.
Best wishes

Only one of the orange wires is disconnected and has a normal size push on spade tag on the end. the wire is about 9 inches long. The other orange wire heads for the front of the machine, I didn’t bother to see where it ended up.

I don’t have any pictures and the machine is about 9 miles away. The two orange wires join together in one push on tag, that tag connects to one of the terminals of the relay, it should be the only orange wires on the relay. What I need to know is where the other ends of these two orange wires go to.
Thanks for responding to my posting gandh1.

I have done quite a few, but I vwouldn’t say it is easy, especially if the customer pulls up a chair to sit and watch.

ParticipantRe: Connect
Very strange you guys being called by Connect and being asked if you use other suppliers.
For the last year Connect have rang through every week or two with a courtesy call. I am rarely at home when they call. So I miss them 🙂
A fortnight ago they caught me in and asked how things were going.
It was my chance to moan about their prices. I told them I had been using another suplier quite a lot, as they were cheaper. They asked who I used (Qualtex) I then gave an example of prices they charged for Bosch genuine parts, and Qualtex price.Anyway to cut it short, the following day they are matching Qualtex prices.
I have not heard from Connect on the phone since. 🙁 🙁 !!!!!

Yes there is a toc that stops the grill and oven working, but not the clock.

I have looked through my emails from Dec 2007 when Gegsy sent me the pdf for the machine, but cant find it 😳
Three years have elapsed since then and I cannot remember if I solved the problem, so alas I can be of no help, Sorry.

Yep that’s the one, and it’s alternative in genuine.
The terminal on the holder exits in the right place too. A very unusual place to exit don’t you think. I was going to try to describe it, but couldn’t think how to 😳
Have you come across these before ? It’s very confusing with the chart you emailed me, I cross referenced the motor number to the chart and that Dst 50226588007 brush just didn’t look right.
I can’t thank you enough for taking the time to sort this for me.

Many thanks for your email Geoff.
Looking at that list it seems any ACC made motors require the DST50226588007 carbon brush.
I have brought up the picture of that part on Connect, it doesn’t look quite the same but guess it must be the right one.
Anyway will have to try it, will post here again to confirm later.

ParticipantRe: Stoves 900EF cooling fan
Thanks John, but sadly not the right fan, although I have seen those in other stoves ovens.
The old fan is kaput (burnt out) and has taken the pcb as well 😥Cheers

Not the “normal” place you would expect them to go is it.
