looks like a electronic type pump motor so could be that but wiring is always a good place to start

you will be lucky to get a used board plus there are 4 variants of your machine and they may have different software

its one of those jobs where the first time you get it it takes ages

next time you go straight to it, even more fun if you find it after someone else tried and couldn’t

if the compressor is running and its not cooling you need a new fridge

all the stat does is turn on and off the compressor. if its on its done its job till its cold enough

its full electronic so its either

a coincidence and the fault would happen anyway

    or water has got somewhere

you say it never cuts out but I expect some sort of limit

suggest you take thermometer with you set it on very low temp and see

    well agree there
got an oven over 50 years old , simple thermostat still works ok

dont use it much and do intend to swop it when i do the kitchen

its that old that the knob operates a bevel gear to turn the horizontal rotation to vertical rotation and a rod goes down to a rod stat. Was reconditioned when my dad bought it in 1970

thats when Belling cookers lasted lol

put model into Beko and nothing came up but does look beko like styling

if you have access to one get all info off the label and it may say where its made

the problem here as i see it is most manufacturers try to cover as much of the market as they can. Like Bosch who offer multiple ranges each offering different perameters from cheap to expensive

    but in general

    budget would be Beko

mid range would be AEG ( inc John lewis Zanussi etc) Bosch NEFF Siemans ,

    top would be Miele

there will always be a dont go near like Bush

on some cookers yes but others no so worth checking

pull one wire off and switch on to see if clock goes off. if yes it cant be the stat
