part number as you have is 2817080100

email site shop and google for prices. cheapest i could see is Amazon but site shop may be able to match or improve on it

no alternative you have to fit the correct motor or the speeds may differ and alter the workings of the machine

    Deactivate child-proof lock
    – If necessary, switch off the appliance by the START key.
    – Press and hold “program” and “-” keys simultaneously until “SAFE” in the display goes out (approx. 2
seconds). Now the child-proof lock is deactivated and the oven is ready for operation again

    try this

i would go to google and Ebay as i find sometimes its as cheap to get things sent from the states as long as the price is cheap enough to avoid vat and import duty charges

ring JLA but do a bit of research as they can be a bit dear sometimes

getting them off the shelf might be a problem but you can ask to see if one can be made
we have a local place in liverpool that can make elements
    http://www.tpfay.co.uk/
you could ask them to see if they can helps or see if there is another firm that does the same thing near you

Re: Beko WMA 520 stopped working on final spin

am going away for the weekend but what i am thinking is :

there is a magnet at the rear of the motor that generates a voltage to tell the board what speed the motor is doing. if this magnet breaks the motor starts and gain speed very quickly( should be a slow rise). the board then realises that its not getting a signal and shut motor down and wont restart for safety reasons

if magnet has broken it a new motor part not available on its own

this is a bit of guess work and a bit of experience

they use a similar stat on maytag dryers

the two outside connection will prob be the ones you want to look at. i would say these are the main load to the heater
the centre 2 brass connector will either be
1 a resistor to preheat the stat or ( my best guess)
2 an NTC if the unit uses electronic control

this system is used on maytag dryers

the last terminal is probably a changeover contact from the main set

meter through from left to right see if you get a connection

mentions E13 thought you would have made a mistake as the errors seem to be all E**

    Dave

its also one of those machines on the changeover to brushless motors, the manuals listed for it are brush motors but the motor is listed as brushless

just looked up your model and it seems the electronics control everything

from that I would expect it may be a board fault and difficult to fix yourself without expert help

Re: fridge/freezer costing £50pm in electricity. Is this fau

electricity is measured in kilowatt hours or 100watts for 1 hour

    or 100watts for 5 hours

with that in mind if your fridge draws 70 watts that 1000 / 70 = 14.29

which mean it will use 1 unit of power in 14.29 hours

based on 17p per unit and a month of 30 days
    hours in a month 30 * 24 =720

    no of units per month 720 / 14.29 = 50.38
    price 17p * 50.38 = £8.56

and thats based on the motor running all the time which if its working ok it should not

Re: Beko condenser dryer heating problem

you cant short the ntc out as it still wont work. value has to be within a range. too high or too low it wont heat for safety reasons

your post reads 2 ways. at the top it says you shorted NTC but at the bottom you seem to say you swapped it Which ??

get an old one off a Hotpoint heater and plug that on. I carry one in my bag for that purpose

Re: Hygena Cooker Hood Fan Motor working slow

    either

1 motor is faulty or connected wrong

2 capacitor is faulty ( from info seems to be 6.3uF but needs checking )
