the common Bosch reset is like this

turn programme knob to 6 0 clock
press and hold the button that changes the spin speed
turn knob to 7 o clock
    now release the spin speed

you may have to do it 2 or 3 times

if it has not got a spin speed button then this reset wont work

Re: Tumble dryer and washer dryer capacities

In a washer dryer most dryer loads are about half the washer load. This is to allow the clothes to move and allow the hot air to circulate. so if you do a full load you have to take half out when it switches to dry

Re: Bosch Logix x8 RCD trip when off

i would suspect the mains filter as the cable enters the machine at the rear. you could remove the lid and disconnect the wires leading into the machine from the supressor. then plug the machine back in.
so now you would only have the suppressor in circuit and if it trips you have found it

    Dave

    dont forget to unplug first

Re: Leaking inlet valve on dryer side of Miele WT 945 wash/d

the gen Miele one will be expensive the only other poss option is to remove the coil and see if the valve stem unscrews. if yes you can swop the rubber diaphram from a generic valve if that also unscrews

The operative word his is “might”
and yes it might so unless you try it you wont know. if its the std small chips they are cheap so its a cheap experiment.
there should also be a series fusible resistor into the board, measure it in case its gone up in value first

    if it works ok

if not i would check the brushes anyway.to see if they may have caused the fault. other posters on here have said they had problems resetting some machines if the brushes were open circuit.
not had that problem yet but it cant hurt to check

    best of luck
