    Re: Bosch motor tacho fault?

had a few where the magnet had split in half

managed to extract it from a scrap motor and refit it.
its a bit difficult because its behind the back bearing

dont know thsi board but will prob be the switch mode power supply chip on the board. common prob on other boards

look for a small 7 leg chip near the main capacitors somtimes next to a small tranformer

Re: Miele Dishwasher G646 SC – Acqua Inlet fill hose questio

that is because the electical valve is at the end of the hose by the tap

and yes its the only one that will do and you would have to connect it inside the machine both to water and electric

    might be belt or cap

if its the cap (or the motor) if you give the drum a push it will run

most washer belts are easy unless the access is poor. belts are stretch and just roll it round the pulley till its on

put 100 ohm in but it must be a fusible resistor

are you putting it in the right way round. if you get it wrong it will fail very quickly

check one of the other caps. the cap is marked and so is the pcb

Re: AEG Competence B4100-1 Fan doesn’t work

1 all faults are fixable at a price
2 cant say what part is required could be the fan motor could be the switch that controls it
yes you could do it yourself as long as you take photos of things you disconnect before you start. the hard part is finding the fault

Re: John Lewis JLDWS1204 not heating water?

no very easily you could look at the main board for bad solder joints but to test for the other problems you need the tech info

the thermostat is a thermistor which is a resistor that changes with temp
the relay on the board is a mechanical device and you would have to measure the voltage to its coil while the machine is on. something best left to engineers
water height switch try adding a bit more water. start machine. let it fill and start. open door and look at water height. if it seem non existent add a couple of pans of water and close door and see what happens.
make sure you select the shortest wash programme as most washes do a cold rinse first
as a check you should hear the detergent container open and it should heat after that if its going to

cant give you a lot more info as your not a trade user of this site.

suggest you look an this site for a local engineer who could help you
