heating faults can be a number of things

1 heater but you have changed that
    2 thermosat
3 relay on the main board that controls the heater
4 water height switch (stops heater coming on with no water inside) also wont operate if machine does not fill completely

    no probs m8

chips dont go that often so should be ok now

bit cheaper than a new board isn’t it

these chips are becoming quite common so get this fault in other appliances so look out for it

very likely possibly a blown triac on the board that feeds the valve. the wiring is sraight forward as connectors normally dont go in the wrong place but take a quick picture as a ref

the resistor feeds to a bridge rectifier and then to a capacitor which gives dc voltages of about over 300v. this is then fed into a switch mode power suppy. you will find a small 7 leg chip (sometimes 8 ) near the cap close to a small transformer. number normally begin tny but there is another one. look up TNY264 as a ref
if resistors have blow then replace chip and resistors and with a bit of luck it will burst into life

if the resistor is on the power input to the board it will prob be about 100 ohms but there is a good chance the switch mode integrated circuit has also gone and the resistor act like a fuse

if it is a power supply fault it can be repaired if you know what your doing

when you say goes off you mean Dead no lights or power to the machine or just wont start

make sure you have eliminated the socket

    go to

    maytagpartsonline.com

put in your model and it will give you their part number which seems to be 70301-1

putting that into Qualtex gives me 481201222832 ( says special order but does not say its obsolete)
    but check yourself

    hope it helps

    could also be a
1 blockage stopping water draining quick enough
2 pump some pumps have a safety stat that trips if they get too hot. so pump will run for a while then stop

    Re: wanted… Pcb aeg f35080vi

was worth a try but it one of those problems

if the customer turn it off all the time the switch goes and you have to replace the pcb
if the customer leaves it on the pcb burns out (or goes on fire) and you still have to replace the pcb

    Re: Bosch WTE84309GB/27 dryer

does it go off if you just switch the machine on without starting it ?

does sound like a board problem. i assume all light go off when it goes dead. if so check power is still on board. if yes you need to check the power supply chips on the board to see if they are the problem

if the electronics is beyond you try

    http://www.qer.biz/Lists.htm

    they fix dryer boards
