    Re: Washing machine motors

    agreed martin
have done it years ago with early hoover motors. they where simple motors with 6 pins but he was asking if there was a test lead to do it and the answer is no, as there is quite a variation in plugs used these days. Also some motors need a DC supply.

in theory its possible but would need to be a dedicated purpose built rig with full earth RCD protection and fused to suit

I built such a rig to repair the early hoover dc modules and test rebuit motors. used a wiring harness will all proper plugs and a rotary switch to select all speeds

    F908 is listed as

Can be in connection with the root cause of the F130 or F131.
Due to a shortcut in the Triac or Sensor connections the CPU of the
Power board can be destroyed, so please check careful the small loads
and also the NTC Sensor if connected (steam oven).
Don’t exchange the Power board before you checked the mentioned
resistances in small load and sensor connections

can send you more info if you want but need prod number there are 21 of them with this model and there may be differences

    Re: Washing machine motors

    short answer no

all washer motors are designed to be speed controlled by electronics under load
some motors are 6 pin some are 7 a few have more

you also show dishwasher motors that work differently

Re: Electrolux built in oven overheating always on max!? (HE

    let make sure
you fitted a new stat that is behind the nkob on the front of the cooker. you fitted it as one unit and did not take it apart to fit it in any way
the new stat and the old stat were the same make and model

the tech info shows 4 poss stats and although term 1 never moves the other 2 swop. so that may be your problem

Re: Bosh 1400 Exxcel Washing Machine WFO2865GB/08 Motor/Brus

as an engineer i fit brushes in situ. motor can be accessed from underneath by tilting machine back against a wall. one of the brushes is easy enugh but the other one is done more by feel.
you could take the motor out but this is not so easy as the bolts that hold it are not in the bnest place

you can find a parts breakdown of your machine here

parts can be got through this sites shop

Re: smeg suk91mfx 90 range twin fan single oven no heat

thats the problem when you come into the middle of a job and someone has been playing

i dont know the wiring but reading between the lines there should be a live feed from the stat to activate the board. its neutral could well be coming direct from the mains block

Re: smeg suk91mfx 90 range twin fan single oven no heat

the relay board is just to stop the current from both elements from going through the stat

there is an input wire which powers the board to operate the relays and the board has a simple capacitor power supply to drop the voltage lower. check the relays you have fitted have a similar coil resistance as if its lower it may be drawing too much current for the simple supply

i assume you have not made a mistake connecting the board but its worth a check

find the input wires to the board and check its feeds a live from the stat

Re: ELBA top oven/grill tripping power

most top ovens have another element below the floor. since the floor will get hotter with the grill door closed it is likely this may be faulty

also if elements do not get used they can get damp and cause problems like this. it is a good idea to use all elements at least every 3 months or so to keep them dry
