    or the power module

would have to see how its flashing but if its like the hotpoints where they all flash together it may be a power supply prob
i would check the power board for blown caps. i cannot see what type of power supply this board uses but if its not switch mode like hot wma machines that may be suspect

well first off i would open the filter and check the pump.

good chance you will find Hairclip, bra wire, curtain hook or others jamming the pump impellor

remaove filter and get down with a torck and look inside. make sure there is nothing jamming the impellor ( white cross)

beware if you remove filter and the machine is full of water you may end up paddling

    mine is different model DSC85w

looked up on beko technical and there is a bulletin re the elements. they changed the thermisor old one is grey new one is white. according to sheet the 2 are not interchangeable as the main board is different in each case
since my customer had got his own element and its the wrong one i cannot say for certain why his unit is not heating. played around swopping thermistors to hotpoint ones. linked old thermistor in circuit but not touching earth still no heat.
in my case customer would need correct pcb and correct heater or maybe just correct heater.
he is going to contact espares who obvoiusly dont know there are 2 elements and see if they will swop it

there are about 11 dishwashers bearing this model ( need product number to get same one ) but the one i checked used the standard brackets

    google image this number 1172870014

they fit top left and right and allow you to screw to worktop or cupboards

    motor brushes gone most likely

the clicking is the relays on the board reversing the motor. you dont hear them when its running normaly

with a 3 beep fault is it saying the conductimetric sensor is not right

as far as i know its should be the sensor circuit that detects moisture in the machine

suggested faults are wiring, brushes or main board fault

think you may need a professional with knowledge of the test proceedures

it will need ntc as board needs to sense it in case of failure

my customer has already fitted a new heater before they called me

    Re: Hotpoint stuck on drain?

may not have seen this fault on these but have had countless triac failures keeping pumps or valves on
worth a check it may be sensing the wires to the pump before starting

Re: Bosch Exxcel WVD245S3GB/01 bearing change advice

the bearings are housed in a metel spider mounted on the back of the drum.
it is possible (but not easy) to remove the spider without removing the drum and withdraw it through the back panel
bosch supply the bearings as a complete spider part no 283726 but at £163 its a bit expensive. you can buy non gen bearing kits very likely from site shop.
if bearings have got to bad it will have damaged drum spider, so strip it and check first
you can see a breakdown at http://www.bosch-home.co.uk/store/spareparts/search
