    Re: Hotpoint/Indesit dryer relays.

not seen one faulty yet but in order of preference

1 relay look at relay voltage and check to see what voltage you have at the coil connection
2 .68uF cap provides the power supply to the board

thanks to Qualtex for the picture

when these pumps wear they can throw up this fault. very likely needs replacing

if you want a breakdown go to

i would contact their customer services but i would guess this is a cheap chinese import and as such very few spares will be available

have just found it on another website
3 part listed 2 of them obsolete (belt and hepa filter)

like their choice of machine for the picture must be about 15 years old. They could have chosen a more modern one or would they be sued by the manufacurer if they did

a lot depends on how you are at stripping and rebuilding appliances

to replace seal the whole drum has to be removed

Re: Smeg FAB30YV – Door Seals

as far as i know the answer is no

you will find seal is bonded to the door as its made even if you could get it off it would be a nightmare to remove the old glue and stick o new one on

    unless someone else knows better

Re: Electrolux TR12418 Freezer starter Problem

there is no way of knowing till you try replacing the part

i am not sure without looking parts up but if the compressors are the same you could swop the components from the good side
    but

1 make sure they are compatible
2 there is a risk of blowing that starter too

Re: Neff Oven – no heat

understand now more. looked up parts breakdown and yours is electronicaly controlled rather than switches
there are a number of possibilities
1 elements although its unlikely they both went you cant rule it out so you have to be sure
2 pcb the control board or the clock may be faulty. may be a simple solder joint on a relay on the board
