Moderatoryour tripping could be sparking relay contacts
solder in a new relay and take it from there

Moderatordisconnect both wires
then put the meter on a high ohms scale, put one lead to either terminal of the heater and the other one to the metal case
closest video i can find ishttps://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=J2uERRDMZdM&t=210
he is using a special meter but your meter can still sometimes work. also he says 1 meg is ok but on todays machines it can mess with the controls that low so if its under 10meg you may have a problem
you could try running the machine with the elements disconnected ( be sure to insulate connections and make safe

Moderatorhave you actually disconneted the heating elements and tried it ?
yes its a long shot but it has zero cost to it
we have a few machines it can make a difference. There is one zanussi machine where the display goes blank when the drier element has an small earth fault

Moderatortry a bit of wd in the switch (not too much)
a lot of these switches are just resistance boxes. the resistance is converted by the processor and does what it saysif you get dirty contacts you get the wrong thing happening

Moderatorto earth millions of ohms
across terminals under 50 ohm
if you get a low reading on the element, no matter what it is they are ok
wahts more important is earth reading. some of which can be low enough to upset electronics but not low enough to blow trips

Moderatorok first off its an isolation transformer and on side of secondary is to earth anyway so it has to be before transfomer
i would disconnect one of the wires to the transformer primary so you can play without the problems of high voltage
most likely causes of this is element and not microwave side

Moderatorif NTC was wrong too much it would throw up an error code but if just a bit out would under or oveheat but not do a reset
test both elements to earth on a high ohm scale with the wires disconnected

Moderatorstill think you may be over thinking this. with lower water levels the heat process is a lot shorter also the job of the wash process is to loosen the dirt and for that i mean get it into a postion where it can be rinsed away. it does not mean it will end up in the wash water so water levels are not as important as energy saving.
When it gets to the rinses this will wet the clothes a lot more and if you add Aqua plus it will add more rinse water which is meant for people with allegiesjust make sure your using an appropriate programme as some quick washes are only designed for 2 to 3 Kg
if your not getting problems with wash quality dont worry
